I was slut shaming? I think...
So, my 16-year-old cousin and her friends have these things they call finstas (private instagram accounts of themselves where they basically expose themselves, they only allow certain people to follow said ig account). On this account, she posts screen shots of conversations she has with guys and she’s posted several half naked pictures on it. I unfollowed the account yesterday and then I suddenly realized what I did. I was shaming her for posting these pictures when I should've been applauding her for having confidence in herself and in her appearance. I was surprised that I had done this considering the amount of naked bodies that I reblog and praise daily for the same thing, so why was it different when it’s my family? That was some real problematic shit. I can’t believe myself. It’s crazier because I’ve been feening to upload my own ass shots but I know how stigmatized it is and I am just going with the norm of women having to cover their bodies to be seen as professional (i woud’ve said pure but fuck purity i know if an employer looks at that i might not get the position i want).
the-fuckboy-dynasty Who knows, I just might hop in that train officially eventually.
the-fuckboy-dynasty tell that to leo and his jersey length insecurities
