One might assume that given how long Ava and Khalaas have had to deal with each other, they would each be at a point where they could reach some sort of middle ground when things got rough. For the most part, they were able to do that, and the problems that arose between specter and host had dwindled drastically.
Some days, however, that was anything but the case. Whether it was a lack of rest on Ava’s part, or her specter feeling particularly bored and chaotic, they had been butting heads for a solid few hours already. It had gotten bad enough that Odin had to tell Ava to go for a walk, which was where she was now. In the middle of a silent but intense argument with a being invisible to everyone but her. Her eyes have not stopped moving, following Khalaas around as she flits about in the general area of her being, occasionally pulling a hand from her pocket to swat at the ghost.
The only saving grace is when she does see a familiar face, actively running through Khalaas to try and fall into step next to Veronica. “Hey! How’s it been?” A smile is forced onto her face, as Ava does her best to ignore the slight glow she’s emitting.
