Storyteller Saturday: Your characters appear in a portrait/picture painted by a famous artist, who is the artist and what is the scene?
hey!! thank you @inexorableblob for popping by, i’m sorry i’ve been so behind in answering asks.
the fun thing is i’ve actually thought of this before! my answer is kind of a cop-out, but i wanna talk about the deities in the odes ;)
because they’re their own sort of religion/myth to the humans, they get represented artistically in many ways.
the one who’s represented the most often would be the Spirit Lord, for obvious reasons. He’s like the king of the deities, in a sense, and does most of the dead-spirit-judging. he’s a big symbol of authority and power, and stuff.
Lady Amara and Riya get drawn a lot, too. They’re the ones who created the “human race”, so they’d get a lot of respect too, I think.
After that, it would be Carena (whose moniker I have yet to settle on), but she’s the ‘godly mother-figure’. The idea behind drawing her is that if she takes notice of you, you’re more likely to become a deity yourself.
After that, it would be Myrau, for less pleasant reasons. She’s a common figure for fairy-tale bedtime stories, a warning for little children. There are bigger pictures of her, of course, and more positive ones, but warnings through her are the most prominent.
anyway, thank you for the ask!

thank you, @bittersweetbisexual for the ask!
today, i’m gonna be gushing about Frelik, aka the Spirit Lord. bc it gets kinda long and it’s just me rambling, i’ll be dropping this under the cut.
