Purple <3

Purple: Ten facts about my room.

I have one of the biggest rooms on my floor ;) it used to be a triple and is now a double, so I kind of took over the extra closet with my hamper...

I hate that the window is on my roommate's side, because I love having it open (and the blinds as well) and it's not her favorite.

I have 34 books on top of my desk and more in a drawer, on the floor, and on the bed :D

My bed is in this cool little alcove formed by the third closet and the wall. It's the only room like that, and I love it - it means my roommate has absolutely no reason to be near my things at all.

I have these purple peace signs on the wall that are made like whiteboards, to write on. One says "when words fail, music speaks" and the other says "I believe in music the way some people believe in fairytales." I change them a lot :D

I don't throw away the boxes my parents send me, so there is a STACK of boxes behind my dresser.

There is currently a ton of shredded paper on our floor, because Dad sent me the box of Christmas gifts padded with paper from our shredder. And it kind of exploded.

Most of my stuff is purple :D computer, lamp, mouse, phone, sheets, most of my quilt, my teddy bear's dress, slippers, peace signs, backpack, bags from birthday and Christmas gifts, Converse shoes, balloon from my birthday...lol ;D

I save all the cards people give me, and I display them on top of the printer. Currently I have a 'happy first semester of uni' card from my aunt, a going-away card from my youth group at home, a thank-you card from my RA, and a Christmas card from each of two girls on my floor.

There's a sign on my wall, from our Halloween party, on which I wrote my name in Arabic :)
