I don’t know how Hannah got so lucky, but she found this incredible apt. in France. 

Isn’t this a seriously awesome place? A glass living room on the top floor of a building in France. 

The light really changes throughout the day.

Room for a nice large dining table in front of this wall of shelving.

The kitchen is stark white and new.

The bedroom has a big window over the bed plus built-in shelving.

Doesn’t it look dreamy as night falls?

The pink sky- Hannah says there’s a light show around 4pm. This apt. is insanely gorgeous. I’m so jealous.

Welcome to designer Geraldine Prieur’s over-the-top Paris apt. 

At the entrance, the walls were painted Prussian blue, a hue echoed by the rug under the curvy furniture.

The living room of the historic apt. is done in a pink color that Geraldine created. She combined contemporary artwork with historic and vintage furniture. A key piece is the shoe chair that she bought at a flea market.

Giant ant figures adorn the wall.

The dining room features yellow and blue elements. The Murano chandelier perfectly matches the glass dining table and the curvy dining chairs Geraldine designed to fit her apartment.

Slightly more neutral, the kitchen is accented with orange ceiling lamps and  curtains.

The walls in the main bdr. and en suite are malachite green. The French designer is a color expert. In her home, she has created a wonderful, vibrant world that is both daring and elegant.

Laura’s French apt. is so unique. It begins with an industrial style living room- look at the conduit on the lighting. There are exposed ducts, cement, beams, and industrial poles.

She has a pretty mural and a white peacock in the dining room. Assorted chairs surround the table.

The large modern kitchen has a wall of windows that have a view of the living room. 

Lighted stairs lead to a second level.

The closet in the bedroom is wallpapered and notice the carpet’s pattern of feathers.

The bathroom is very large with a marble double sink and unusual staggered mirrored cabinets.

This is such a unique tub. 

The toile mural behind the tub is made of mosaics.

This is an amazing apt. in a converted hotel in France. The living room looks like it may have been the lobby- look at the wood details. Plus, they gave it an open conservatory. 

A sophisticated historic living room turns into a sunny glass-ceilinged dining area and kitchen.

Isn’t the kitchen amazing? It’s small, but so bright. 

The bedroom has wonderful exposed brick with all the original architectural features.

Nice secondary bedroom. This apt. has a bit of everything style.

Chloe & Anthony dreamed of a home in the country and brought that dream to their beautiful apt. in France. It took them 2 yrs. to furnish it to meet their expectations. 

This is perfection. It’s a cabin-like duplex nestled up in an attic that merges 2 apts. The completely renovated the entire space.

Industrial architectural details – such as the brickwork – meet the charm of vintage home interior features such as the arch that elegantly frames their kitchen.

They hunted down the majority of their furniture second-hand. They took the time to choose each piece, which makes them feel like they fit in perfectly. They love hunting for bargains b/c there’s already so much furniture and so many objects; why create new ones?

The choice of materials reflects their dream of a country house. They like everything natural- Wood, straw, linen, stone, lime, sandstone & dried flowers.

In the loft, they made offices and a small space for friends to stay.

Aurélie’s lovely smallish duplex apt. in Paris. The living room is done in 1930s glamour. 

The dining room chairs came from the Vichy Theater. The manager gave them away, b/c they were just “lying around.” How cool is that?

The black kitchen with the caned cabinets remind Aurélie of her Mediterranean roots.

The stairs were designed to have the charm of days gone by.

Much more than a dressing room , this black lacquered space is like an artist's dressing room. Inspired by vintage dresses that she loves to find wherever she travels.

The small bathroom has an Art Deco character.

What a lovely apt. in this building in Valence, France.

The unique apt. has a large bright living/dining room, but it has several small rooms that they’re used in creative ways.

The kitchen is loaded with charm. That green is a good color for a vintage kitchen.

A hallway became an area for a child.

The main bedroom is casual and features calming blue tones.

This small room makes a good office.

And, this one became a sitting room.

Bright cheery child’s room.

Look at the bathroom- it has a place to sit and a cool sunken tub.

Very intriguing apt. decorated by a French designer. In some of the blogs I follow, people are either buying or acquiring free floral sofas, and this shows that they do fit into modern design.

I’m fascinated by her design- she put up 3 fancy chandeliers plus a single bare bulb, then draped a red wire between them that doesn’t seem to serve any function. The living room set is pink & green, yet she did the kitchen in bright contrasting red.

She also has some retro lighting.

Now, these cannisters are interesting. She’s also added some vintage gold touches.

She put a gallery wall in the loo with lovely gilded frames.

The bedroom in the apt. has a pony wall with a sink and a tub shower behind it. This is such an interesting apt. The pony wall has shelving for the bedroom side.
