What’s good everyone! Happy very belated cereal Friday! This week’s pick was General Mills French Toast Crunch. As soon as you open the bag, your nostrils are filled with the sweet scent of French Toast! Literally, you can smell the cinnamon, sugar, and syrup. After dry tasting you’re left with only one comparison and that is an over cooked French Toast Stick from your elementary school days. Add some milk and that initial bite doesn’t have the excitement that you’d expect. Unlike most cereals, where the flavor is immediately present, this cereal actually has the flavor come on upon swallowing. Then the flavor just lingers in the back of the throat. Once you finish your french toast crunch cereal pieces you have the bowl of milk to which it is every bit of delicious as you would expect. It’s sweet, but not too sweet, and it still has a french toast flavor! This cereal isn’t new, but you also can’t find it all the time, and it was a pleasure getting to enjoy this again.
