PUERTO PRINCESA, PALAWAN -- An announcement was made last Saturday early morning (May 14th, 2022 - Palawan local time) during a morning news programme of "Bandera Reports: Morning Edition", Bing Bataga announces a legitimate frequency change with its flagship station of DWDW-FM 88.7mhz's Radyo Bandera: Palawan due to a technical transmitter problem in Puerto Princesa City.
The technical team of Radyo Bandera: Palawan have currently working to fix its radio transmitter to be upgraded for completion by Monday with the same name of a regular news programme (May 16th, 2022).
The old callsign per National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) was sold to Prime Broadcasting Network Inc. (PBNI), which is probably soon to air or simply abandon a silent radio frequency of 88.7mhz FM. The first FM radio broadcast begins in 2015 before the Sweet FM lease expansion broadcast brand in the Visayas as Politiko Philippine News reported.

Radyo Bandera Philippines Inc. (RBPI) in Puerto Princesa City joins a newest radio affiliate owner of Palawan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) as it changed to its new frequency of 89.5mhz FM.
Regional FM stations of Radyo Bandera will not be affected anywhere nationwide. A commitment of RBPI will wave the flag of independence in radio journalism for news and music FM station.
