This Olay Fresh Effects badge is open to select Influensters and I'm guessing I got it because I'm in the top 20% of those that got the Colgate #BrushWhitenGo VoxBox! Woot!! One of the badge activities included taking a photo of your local Wal-Mart's selection of Olay Fresh Effects selection (why was mine so sad?!?!!) and sharing it with y'all. The second activity is to post a review on the Wal-Mart website. Here goes!! Wish me luck! :)

Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream

I received Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream from Influenster a couple months ago with a lot of other great products to try. But I'm going to focus on the BB Cream for this one. Olay not too long ago came out with a line that aims for younger skin called Fresh Effects. There's about 5 or 6 products including a scrubber brush that pulsates while you wash your face and other items

The BB Cream comes in two different colors: Fair to Light and Light to Medium. I had recieved it in the Fair to light color. 

    Here is a picture of the tube it comes in. It is a very nice size at 2.5 oz or 75mL. I think the packaging is super fun and fresh. ;)

Let me tell you a little about my skin: I have oily to combination skin. Some days I can be "normal" and some days I can could probably deep fry some onion rings with what my face can put out. But then I have dry red patches underneath both sides of my nose that peel and scab :/. But other than my nose I wouldn't say my skin is hard to handle, I'm lucky to say I really never break out just a small zit here and there.

Here is a little information from the Olay website on what the product claims to do: 

• Refreshes skin instantly • Brightens for a radiant glow • Evens tone with a splash of sheer color • Hydrates for 24 hours • Smoothes for softer feeling skin • Protects against UV damage with SPF 15 

I'm going to briefly talk about each point to see how it adds up to what they say and how I feel. But my opinion may be different than yours and that's going to happen because not everyone has the same skin!

Refreshes skin instantly: Definitely. It wakes my skin up and adds a little oomph to it. Especially on days I just wake up and have errands but don't want to slather on a heavy foundation. 

Brightens for a radiant glow: Sure why not. It definitely leaves a pretty dewy finish giving my face maybe a touch of a glow. For me I prefer a matter or satin texture but it still makes my skin look nice.

Evens tone with a splash of sheer color: Oh boy. It is sheer for sure. It has very little coverage which is nice for those with even skin. But for me this is where the product has a downfall. Remember those red patches under my nose? It didn't cover it much if any. My dark circles also needed extra coverage too. 

Hydrates for 24 hours: Eh, I wouldn't know much about that because I really like to wash my face when I can. But I would probably say it does. It makes my skin feel soft even after washing. I also don't feel like I need more moisturizer if I am going out. Only on my nose.

Smooths skin: o_o You better believe it. It make my feel so silky smooth, if I could touch my face all day and not look crazy I probably would. It makes my face feel like a baby's bottom. I love it.

Protects skin with SPF 15: Not a lot of SPF here but it's not like you can't add your own!

Overall, I would give this product a B. I wish it  had a little more coverage but that's just me and maybe a touch more spf. But it's still great overall. You can find it at most drugstores for $12.99 but it might vary depending on where you live!

Product Review: Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream

This product is, seriously, amazing! It's the first BB Cream that I've ever tried and I love it. The BB Cream provides a light coverage, without feeling super heavy on my skin. It's perfect for summer time, when you just want to have a little bit of coverage, without putting on a lot of makeup and it also provides SPF coverage for your face! What more can you ask for?

All in one benefits:  Refeshes, brightens, evens tone, hydrates, smoothes and protects.  These are the skin benefits listed for the product.  Here is what I know and have experienced.  

The bb cream is very lightweight and does not feel like I am wearing a mask of makeup. My true skin still shows through but does look cleaner and more fresh.  The SPF 15 is a great added bonus too!  The smell is wonderful, kind of a clean floral scent.  I have made this a part of my morning routine and love having it in my purse for just in case.  I actually just used some of it yesterday for the kids noses when we went out on the boat and forgot the sunscreen!  Way to save the day Olay BB Cream!

I received my Sunkissed VoxBox a couple weeks ago. I checking out these awesome products and will review them on here soon. I've enjoyed the Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elaarics so far. I haven't tried out the Dr. Scholl's For Her yet. But I will next week. I can't wait to try the SinfulShine with Gel Tech polish color Picante. Sadly, I won't be able to test the Olay Fresh Effects {BB Cream!} Skin Perfecting Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 15. It's way to light for me, but maybe my roommate can check it out if it matches her skin tone. Also, I received all these wonderful products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster!

Heres my SunVoxBox! I loved testing these products thanks to Influenster. 

First off, I love elastic hair ties. I use them every day, either on my wrist or to keep my hair up. The Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics are really cute and don't make creases in your hair, which is a plus! I especially love the purple one that I received (this was a product of http://www.goody.com/). :)

The Fresh Effects BB cream is convenient for the beach since its makeup and SPF all in one. Its also good if your in a hurry since you just put it on like any cream and your done. I personally am not a fan of this one because I have sensitive skin I experienced discomfort/burning from it :( But I love the idea of it! But I am sure its great for those with no skin problems.

The Dr Schools Strut inserts are the best! they just stick onto your high heels and you don't even notice them, they are thin and clear. They make high heels very comfortable.
