Freshly Laced presents > Gaslamp Killer

- The exhibition celebrates the personal stories of all the different kinds of people that make up this country. So if you’re new to Dubai or just plain tired of it – this event might remind you of the humanity of an often impersonal city.

- The show features objects by James Clar, Hind Mezaina (of Lomography and The Culturist), DJ Solo and other stars of the local cultural scene. discoballbreaker even has five objects in the show (check me out!).

- Live music will be provided by the boys of Freshly Laced.

The official after party will be at Freshly Laced’s party in Barsha. If you see me dancing in front of the left speaker, come and say hello. And no matter what I say, do not let me bring out the sambucas.

Freshly Laced presents > Enzo Bontempi

But what of Italian Spiderman, the frothy film that was forgotten about in 1968? Well flash forward almost 40 years and both the film and its awesome soundtrack are unearthed by Soulful TorinoRecords, resulting in an immediate release of both on the internet. The film becomes a cult classic and the soundtrack officially makes Enzo Bontempi the hot shit.

So you see, it ends on a happy note after all. And today, the boys of Freshly Laced would like you to listen to another Bontempi classic. This one is called ‘Una Cosa Stupido’ and it deserves your undivided attention. By the way, Freshly Laced will be taking the night off tonight but are back tomorrow night at the Ibis from 10 pm.
