𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🍝 I am in LOVE with the @pastaiolondon winter menu. I’m just going to jump straight in and take you through what I had: Nduja Devils on Horseback. That mix of sweet and savoury is beautiful, especially with that kick of heat from the nduja. Brussel sprouts Burrata. The creaminess of the burrata with the touch of citrus from the lemon, and the nutty earthy taste of the hazelnuts transform the sprouts into a dish I’d order again, and I don’t usually like sprouts. The truffle & burrata toastie is a little luxury with a generous helping of pure truffle shavings. I’ve never had a toastie with burrata as the cheese but it worked so well. Winter chanterelle mushrooms, king oyster mushrooms, garlic, white Wine, and parsley tagliatelle. This is a big dish, definitely filling, and it’s full of mushrooms. I usually like my pasta dishes with meat but it wasn’t needed at all. Spinach pasta cappellacci with autumn squash & ricotta, butter & sage leaves. Probably one of my favourite pastas I’ve had from Pastaio. It was delicious, so creamy. The Pannetone bread and butter pudding was beautiful. I honestly think I’ve never had bread and butter pudding in my life, and this has now made me a big fan. It was so soft and creamy and had the perfect amount of sweetness to it. It’s big, so definitely for sharing.
