I love airports. I know it contradicts common human emotions towards airports, but the hustle and bustle of one reminds me of marketplaces back home.
Look up at the board and behold a menu of places most people would not want to go to: Kandahar, Mogadishu, Khartoum, Karachi, Tehran, Basra, Peshawar, Mashad, Quetta, Kabul.
Ok, not really like a marketplace.
