the more freud i read the less i value his conclusions based on the oedipus complex(esp the primal horde theory). i mean the concept of topography of the mind was and still is brilliant but like honestly it’s like he came up with oedipus then remembered women/non men existed and then just bullshitted in that they want dicks. idk, it’s interesting i guess but kindof frustrating.
it’s kind of funny that freud’s “universal theory of human nature” was pretty much dicks and dick accessories
