              When he’d returned home, and saw the MESS, the tell tale signs of a fight, he knew that something was wrong. Confirmed by Niklaus, who was more aggravated than usual of late, that there had been a FIGHT. The apparently NOT dead Dominic (really, since when did ripping a heart out and throwing from a height NOT work anymore? that’s two, now.) and some of his Hollow-following fools. Which had meant the Boundary spell had fallen. Which meant Freya’s heart - 

              He hangs his jacket on the chair, an illusion of calm he did not feel (while he’d been off making the harvest ritual happen again to stop the hollow, his sister has nearly died - her heart at stopped -) and he just WATCHED her, almost disbelief tinting his face. “That is - yes, Hope should remain safe, no matter what but SISTER - your heart stopped beating. You nearly died.” Technically, she DID. It could happen again, this time with more permanent consequences. The thought terrifies him.
