It'd honestly make a lot of sense if Kratos and Freya spent the night together post Ragnarok. I mean, their interactions in Valhalla seem to imply that at least a little with how concerned Freya is with Kratos's rashness, and how they seem to be at least a bit distant with Mimir talking about how Kratos went to the one place he could feasibly avoid Freya. And while he did say that he isn't avoiding Freya, and Kratos is a guy that puts it bluntly so he's probably telling the truth, he's probably doing it subconsciously if it were the case. And it also may be part of the reason he's hesitant to accept the position of the Norse God Of War (aside from the copious amounts of trauma that the title has caused him in the past.) Plus even aside from all of that, they're both lonely, attractive widows who probably haven't been intimate in a long time. Pair that with both of Kratos's wives dying and the only relationship of Freya's that we know of was abusive as crap, and you have the perfect messy MILF + DILF hookup/situationship
