Okay. Okayokay.
First off like, fuckyou thank you for infecting me enlightening me with this idea.
So these two are disasters, right? In very different ways but hooo boy! These are some messy men.
- Frank tries his best and makes mistakes.
- Mickey tries… somewhat, for a while and then stops trying when it gets too hard.
- Both very different, and together? Oh fuck.
- Frank would sort Mickey out...... eventually.
- There'd be fights (that end in really aggressive sex obvi) and he'd say something about Mickey needing to be a better father, and Mickey would definitely bite back with like "You're one to talk" and ohhhhhh FUCK the tempers.
- I think Frank would be the type to reach a point where he's so mad and yells, bites out something harsh and kinda rude and out of line.
(But not like a total asshole. Obviously Frank's not like that, but his buttons get pushed easily.)
- Then he'd go so quiet like. Basically silent. In a really tense way.
- And to that, Mickey would definitely be the ‘storm out and have to walk it off’ type.
- Frank would go find him at the bar, slumped over and picking at the label on his mostly empty bottle, and he'd slide up to him with two new iced cold ones, with that bashful Evans Signature™️ 'I'm sorry I was an asshole' smile.
- He’d be all, "Hey, can I buy you a drink?" Just insufferable, really.
- Mickey would be like "Well, clearly you already have." Not happy about it but he'd at least look at Frank, and Frank would know he's got him because he's said something. Then they'd sit and drink about it and talk and apologize.
- And if it was the other way around and Mickey was the one out of line?
(Which I think would happen more often tbh, poor idiot.)
- It would take a lot longer to get Frank to talk and stop being angry.
- Mickey would totally be the type trying to joke around and all "Baby, Frankie, sweetheart! I'm sorry! Baby talk to meeeeee!" until Frank just sighs and explains why he's hurt by what Mickey said/did. Only then would Mickey finally give him a real apology and own up to being a fucking dumbass.
- But like, he'd definitely crawl into Frank's lap first and try touching him and kissing him to no avail.
- Okay but also!! This implies!! That Mary and Hector!! Are friends!!
- Not that you asked about them buuuuuut…. She would 100% be teaching herself Greek before she even meets Hector. Like she'd hear about him -I'm sure she would just adore Mickey because he's fun- and she'd be hype as fuck to meet him.
- So she'd have some simple phrases already learned in Greek to be able to talk to him in his own language and her and Hector would become fast friends, sort of making up their own method of communication and mixing Greek and English and I just 🥺🥺🥺
- Back to the adults though: Mickey would dance with Mary, jumping around the small living room with her and show her new music.
- He would let her play with his mini controllers and little stuff he'd probably take with him when he visits (I think with his past experiences 👀👀 he's learned not to take things too quickly and move in right away) and like... I think given how mathematically based his music is? Like making loops and samples and coordinating all these machines? She'd be fucking so hype to see how it all works and to play with it.
- And I think with Hector and Frank that they would bond over things like being on the boat. Frank would feel a little awkward because he has trouble picking up the Greek words Mary has tried to teach him. He would only have some basic phrases and words down so he wouldn’t really be able to talk with him. 🥺
- But then they get out on the boat and Hector says something (in Greek it’s something like "this boat is awesome!!!!") And Frank would give him his best upset little eye crinkle, puppy dog look.
- "Sorry pal, I don't understand? But you're- You're having....fun, right?" And Hector would nod all happy because that's one English word he's got and is like "fun!" in agreement.
End me. End my suffering. Please.
And oh yeah! I was also thinking like-
Imagine Frank catching Mickey doing coke 👀👀👀
He would be SO DISAPPOINTED AND ANGRY.
....especially if maybe Mickey was just supposed to be out with a client for work while Frank voluntarily stayed home with Mary and Hector so they could all have a family night together and do like, make your own pizzas or something. Then it gets so late and he has to ask Roberta to come look after them so he can go find Mickey because he's not answering his phone...

Frank would be so mad but so let down and Mickey would be just so awful feeling but also so fucked up and wouldn’t be in the right mind to explain himself and it would be a mess.
u know u fucked when u cant deal with the thought of your crush finding out about your crush on them but u can't deal with them not finding out either...
