The Farahset 5

The royal guards of the Farahset normally sit around 50 members. Using the abundant red sand of the desert they live in, they have created a unique set of armor along with a sword and shield. This special 'glass' armor is heavily enchanted with lightening techniques and durability enhancements.

This is only for the royal guard, for it's a very difficult process to complete, making any extras super expensive. There isn't a high class in the Farahset kingdom, so it puts this gear out of reach.

The Farahset 4

The Farahset use gold and emerald as currency. While gold is pretty common on Broxx, emeralds are a little harder to come by.

1 emerald nugget is worth 20 gold coins, and the royalty mostly use the emerald in clothing accents.

There are also blood rubies, the main currency for the Anubites. If you get your hands on any of these, you're in for several emerald bars.

Farahset 3

The Queen and their Familiar

The Farahset have a very strong religion and culture. While they worship their main goddess, Farah, they also worship their fallen queens. Starting from the beginning, each queen starts a new age for the Farahset. Each queen also gets the chance to summon a familiar.

This familiar normally looks like a house cat with two tails, matching the fur of the queen, and transforms into an elemental beast in battle. Their purpose is to protect the queen no matter the cost, and when the queen passes, their familiar will also guard their tomb.

When an age ends, and it's time for the queen to move into the afterlife, they are mummified and put into a sarcophagus. They are then put in a new tomb, the oldest queen always being the deepest.

Farahset 2

While the Farahset don't know how to farm, their diet mainly consists of meat. They do have foragers to find what other food sources they can.

Hunters search out Dune Bugs, which are large carapace covered creatures that burrow, and the occasional garlaxx. This carapace is used for armor. Garlaxx are very dangerous and require a strong hunting team. They're large, worm-like creatures that also burrow, and can feed a town for a night.

The Farahset 1

I'm going to start talking more about my Farahset race. They have traits of cats, along with fire abilities. Their culture is a rough mix of different ancient civilizations, a large majority of it being Egyptian.

I've always been super interested in ancient cultures. Egyptian beliefs and lifestyle has always been a highlight for me. Taking ideas from what I love, I was able to create the race of the Farahset.

As I move toward my second WIP, I will be building everything I can about this race, for they have an important role coming very soon.

From pharaohs and mummification in Egypt to the clay army of China, a lot of ideas have stemmed from already existing cultures.
