Ah, you are so brave! My mom bought a bag full and ate it like potato chips! xD I was *supposed* to eat one, but I chickened out. Maybe the next time I go to Cambodia again…
I almost chickened out too. Especially because I ate mine at restaurant in Phnom Penh and the waiter let me hold a live one (de-fanged of course) before I tried one for eating. Something about having the spider walk around on my hand and then two minutes later seeing it fried on a plate was unsettling lol especially since I'd never eaten an insect before! But the way I see it, there are no "strange" or "gross" foods. Only foods we haven't been exposed to. So when I go back, I'm trying the silk worms >:) ...But I don't think I'll ever be brave enough to try the crickets. Lol, they were huge!
