I had fried oysters
Taste the best of both worlds with crispy fried oysters, salty bacon, and a spicy chili mayonnaise on top, all between two toasted buns. This sandwich is perfect for people who love seafood!
Ingredients: 12 fresh oysters. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup cornmeal. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 slices bacon. 4 hamburger buns. 1/2 cup mayonnaise. 2 tsp chili sauce. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Pickles optional.
Instructions: Put flour, cornmeal, salt, and black pepper in a bowl and mix them together. Set the bacon in a pan over medium-high heat and cook it until it's crispy. Take it off and let it dry on paper towels. Put the oysters in the hot bacon grease and coat them with the flour-cornmeal mixture. Shake off any extra flour. Fry for two to three minutes on each side, or until crisp and golden brown. Take it off and let it dry on paper towels. To make chili mayonnaise, mix mayonnaise and chili sauce in a small bowl. In a pan or toaster, toast the hamburger buns until they are just barely golden. Spread chili mayonnaise on both sides of each bun to make the sandwiches. On the bottom half, put a lettuce leaf. Then add tomato slices, crispy bacon, and fried oysters. Add pickles on top if you want to. Put the other half of the bun on top and serve hot. Enjoy your tasty Chili Mayonnaise Fried Oyster and Bacon Sandwich!

These Nashville Hot Fried Oysters are a spicy twist on a classic seafood appetizer. Perfect for game day or any gathering, they're crispy, flavorful, and packed with heat.
Ingredients: 1 dozen fresh oysters, shucked. 1 cup buttermilk. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Vegetable oil, for frying. 1/4 cup hot sauce. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter. Pickles, for serving. Sliced white bread, for serving.
Instructions: Place the shucked oysters in a bowl and cover them with buttermilk. Let them soak for 10-15 minutes. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350F 175C. Dredge each oyster in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Fry the oysters in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. In a small saucepan, melt the butter and mix in the hot sauce. Toss the fried oysters in the hot sauce mixture until evenly coated. Serve the Nashville Hot Fried Oysters with pickles and sliced white bread.
