When You and Your Significant Other Have Zero Mutual Friends

It means you probably don't go out to group social settings together much. It might mean you think the other person is embarrassed of you. They might start to feel guilty if they want to go out with their friends without you. You might start to feel like you only exist together as a couple in a dating universe, and not as a couple with shared interests or as a couple that people like to hang out with.

Or maybe it just means you met online dating and work in very unrelated fields and neither of you have old friends nearby for a 2000+ mile radius.

It's a disappointment that I didn't see coming; 9 months on, and we don't have any mutual friends. How do couples work on this?
