Went to a bra/intimate apparel shop yesterday. I had been a few weeks ago with my husband (anniversary outing), but we didn't get this sexy robe I liked, so I went back for it. I also picked up some other things, because it'd been 3 1/2 years since I'd gotten new bras, and mine were getting a little worn.
I was the only customer in the shop, and the associate was extremely helpful, bringing matching items, alternate sizes, etc. She even had me come behind the counter to look at an item she thought I'd like that they didn't currently have in-store.
When I finally made my choices, I thanked her profusely for her help, this time and for my previous visit, saying everything was wonderful and I felt beautiful, etc., etc.
She seemed very pleased with that feedback, and gave me a flower from the vase on the counter, and also a body scrub/bath bomb sample from another boutique retailer (Lush, if you've heard of it). It was just a wonderful experience.
(I'm drying the flower so I can save it.)
(The sample came wrapped in a little box, which the associate (actually the assistant manager, turns out) wrapped and put in a separate bag.)
It was just a delightful time.
