what do you think of werewolf ren or pearl? or maybe even both? i’m hoping there are some werewolves- let’s get as many paranormal creatures in here as possible! let’s make it a party!

also what do you think of ren and avid as a duo?

I love all the werewolf theories and I think Pearl and Ren should do the spiderman meme but as wolves. Lil pack forming within Oakhurst.

And I think Ren and Avid are neat! Avid and his emotional support dog, lol. Avid should get to be a werewolf too, as a treat.

Oooh I am looking forward to your Pacifica comic so much!!! I love when side characters get so much focus! And I’d never guess that this was your first time drawing old man McGucket (just occurred to me that I do not know the spelling) because he looks great!

I’m excited to see how Pacifica’s doing post-show. Your last long comic (the Ford and Mabel one, if I remember right) was so amazing and it explored their characters a ton. I hope you’re having fun with all of your art!!

I'm just glad I'm able to draw old man McGucket. Like sure, I've drawn his younger self a decent amount but his old self needs the spotlight too.

augh shelbyyyy it's clear to me that shes like. if i don't think about it Too much it's fine. because she likes the vampires and she is mostly having fun so she doesn't really want to think about the tragedy of her situation. because it is truly a little bit tragic. i really like her "but why are they mourning and missing me, i'm right here!" angle so so much too, what a great approach. i love how shes like. the example and exception to so many things. she's allowed and beloved by the townsfolk as long as she behaves herself. otherwise, she won't be allowed to live

Oh my god I could go on and on about this AU it literally has me on chokehold recently 😭 I would absolutely love to show more of it I have so many ideas already

I obviously can't say everything I want but I will clarify a couple things:

Magic doesn't exist; they're still cookies but no magic. Also, they all age normally so no one is immortal or anything

The year when the story takes place isn't very specific, but I'd say it's around 1930s-1940s kinda, just know its not during modern times

The beasts weren't sealed but confined in a remote prison but later escaped

The witches still created the cookies, but they disappeared soon after the first cookies were made, they're still viewed as gods and have religions based on them cults exist too

The setting of the story takes place in a town but it's still pretty infamous due to a lot of big incidents happening there

I would love to go on but I feel like I can tell more through future posts ^^ I'm glad there's people who are taking interest in this AU I honestly just thought of it because I was listening to a song and got inspired

I just reread your whole lamplight au! It’s such a compelling story and world! I have to ask, do you have any plans for getting the adventurer group back together? Martyn, Jimmy, BigB, and Grian? I think it would also be… entertaining? To see Ren and Scar maybe talk again? Ren would want Scar to stand at least ten feet away from Martyn and BigB at all times. He charmspeaks (accidentally?) Martyn and Ren sets him on fire. That could be a funny way for Grian to find out that Scar is a god, too.

well, maybe, if we ever find out what what happened to BigB and Jimmy! :)

ive posted another ask about Scar and Ren, but if they meet as fire, Scar won't actually know Ren is Ren—after all, Ren wasnt someone who had any known connection to fire as a city-god, and as far as anyone knows, the god of Dogwarts is dead. Ren will be very hostile and unwelcoming toward Scar, but he has no way to communicate why he's being aggressive to Martyn OR Scar

if they did meet when Ren has a body i think Ren would be pretty immediately hostile. he will absolutely be really upset and accusatory immediately toward Scar, he's calling him out for destroying his city like immediately. i dont think he's bothering with a "stay ten feet away" bit i think he's just going to deck Scar like immediately no hesitation. his anger or hatred for Scar has not gone down at all, especially with the fact he now has Martyn to protect (and has sorta staked basically all his self worth on successfully doing so)

the nice thing is Martyn is safe from charmspeak, at least, being a deadzone! this is as nice for Scar as it is for Martyn. if he actually bewitched Martyn i think Ren would immediately make a second attempt at testing that "gods do not die" thing

What did you think of episode 8? Everyone had a horrific time and it was wonderful! I am personally happy with it- Abstragedy shippers stay winning :)
