Friendship Week Day 1: Jerma & Star_!

On Youtube together for: 13+ years!

In the leadup to International Friendship Day, I'll be posting art for my favorite internet duos of all time!

I've always loved how Jerma and Star_ have had their intense rivalry with "divorced couple" energy for over a decade now! From TF2 to their fake breakup arc to modern collab streams, it's always a joy to see them together!

Yellowjackets Friendship Week

June 30th-July 7th

Sometimes I feel like we don't have enough friendship appreciation in this fandom, so here we go! I made a list of prompts for friendships.

There aren't many rules except for keeping romance to the minimum and NO AI. You can make fanart, fanfic, whatever you want!

Ik we ship everyone, but you have to admit sometimes they're cute as friends too!

(All of the text below the blue is just ideas in case you can't think of anything, by all means interpret the way you would like)

Some friendship ideas (ik, most of these can be romantic as well, but maybe you just like them as friends and by all means this isn't all of them): Melissa and Van (butchbros), Parking Lot, VanNatMelissa (they get high together), Shauna and Tai, Callie and any of the adultjackets, Jackie and Mari etc.

Day 1: Meet cute (friendship edition)

How do they meet? Do they click immediately or do they dislike each other? This could be anything!

Day 2: Age Difference/Mentor and mentee

Friends who are older and younger, maybe it becomes found family. Some friendship pairings for this could be Nat and Ben or Callie and Lottie (I also see the potential of Deb Shipman and Jackie), Hannah and Melissa/Gen

Day 3: Idiots

What is the most idiotic thing they have done with each other? Or which one of them is the idiot? Again could be anything!

Day 4: Bruises

Someone could get hurt doing something stupid, something else could happen. Maybe they’re at the hospital, who knows!

Day 5: Work besties

Becoming friends at work, or being friends at work

Day 6: break ups

This could be as bad as jackieshauna gate or it could be something totally stupid, whatever the case, these friends are done!

Day 7: Start to finish

What is their friendship like from start to finish? How many years, months, days? You could write a reflection on their friendship or it could be a story of their friendship from start to finish.

Share three things you've learned in doing research for things you've created for fandom (whether that is for a fic, art, gifs, any other media you've created). The facts can be your favourite things you've learned, surprising facts, cute facts, weird facts, long bits of information, anything you like!

1. For the fic I just did for the exchange, I looked up whether you would be able to have a fireplace on a ship. You can, you just need to make sure there is a flue for smoke to get out. For that one I also looked up what kinds of foods you could have canned/preserved in the 1800s.

2. A general one for many fics is fighting moves, terms, and injuries 😂😂.

3. For my sashnetra casino fic, I looked up poker rules, got way too confused, and kept any poker mentions vague 😂

4. So much historical info my Camgeria time travel fic! Where dinosaur bones would’ve been found in the US in the 1800s, market fruits in the 1600s, churches in New Providence, etc

5. For one of my Black Sails fics I looked up what the 1700s equivalent of a bathroom would be called and got lots of conflicting information fjkfk

Theme Week: Friendship

Another theme week, this time about one of my favourite things in the world and in fiction: FRIENDSHIP!
