Feeling inspired by others, first generation farmers Melissa and Ben aren't only running a small pasture-based farm and preparing for a little one on the way, but are now creating "Rustic Hearts for Hope." These handcrafted hearts can be shipped anywhere, and proceeds for these pieces of art go directly to United Way Of Dane County to provide relief for their area. Because I build boards I follow a few other board builders. Seems as though the shaping room style of this era is clean walls and floor with both in a dark color. I guess I don’t subscribe to this eras style. My dads room was pretty sanitary at Hobies but the home garage shaping room felt more like this (probably because I worked in there too 😂). Velzy and my Uncle Mickey had rooms like this. I must say the @Carhartt people are awesome. Their two 🇺🇸 factories in Kentucky and Tennessee are starting a 50 thousand protective gown and 2.5 million mask build right now. Where I came from the guys around me made boats, bar tops, ice chests, gliders (both water and air), boards, campers, signs, tools, spearguns, etc....
