An incredible 15 pet entry @letteringoutloud. Read her story below: ・・・ Once upon a time. A tiny, abandoned kitten was brought home by a little girl, she begged her mother to keep him as he was soo tiny and needed to be bottled fed. That kitten grew and grew and loved to chase and bite anyone. One day the little girl’s older sister (me) tamed another stray kitten who was beaten daily by a Tom cat. She couldn’t bare it anymore and decided to keep him (Purry) and from then on the kitty family got larger, the mother’s heart softened and she kept the other strays frequenting their yard. The kitty family grew to 6 and then 7! My entry for @goodtype #goodtypetuesday which I was surely not going to pass up but also wondered how I could only letter one name when they all mean so much to me so here’s all 15! My mum didn’t want us to keep any cats and she is the one who kept the other 4. We took care of Big Brother, Mai Mai (mummy kitty) and her kittens, Pumpkin and Cheerio, Ben, Lara and Vanilla Bean. They all had felV which is a fatal virus that has no cure, to which they got quite sick and some were put to sleep and some died, it was very sad! Big Brother was also put to sleep by the vets cus he too also had felV (that’s another story to which I wasn’t happy about). I now have Berry the last of Mai Mais litter as we got her spayed, Berry has both felV and fiv. They were all strays but were very loving and trusted us. Our Goldie of 10 years was laid to rest 2 weeks ago as she got quite ill Our kitties mean the world to us and I’ll always remember them! My mum has 6 which are upstairs + Mai Mai and I have Berry so that makes it 8 kitties!
