evie’s always been passionate about music, but has struggled with stage fright. 

evie was in a relationship for over a year with an abusive man and still struggles with what happened. she left him when she realised that she had started flinching when people touched her and it all became clear how toxic it really was.

since then, evie’s been trying to busk, determined not to be the same timid person she always was growing up.

evie’s very kind and smart. she’s currently studying nursing at school, though she’s really more interested in music, she’s just not sure that’s a realistic career for her future.

she can be very shy and awkward but she tries really really hard.

she is from a small town in texas (although she was born in new york). she had a thick accent, but being away from her hometown for a while, it’s died down a lot.

she comes from wealth, her parents both being driven, self-made first generation americans who are paying austin’s way through college with pride.

she has three brothers who she remains incredibly close to, but being the only girl, she was subconsciously spoiled by her parents. although she remains incredibly humble. she’s never been one to flaunt her wealth or anything like that, but she’s a definite trust fund baby.

on top of that, she’s an incredibly smart person. she has an incredible memory and can remember pretty much everything she sees & hears. (she gives off reid from criminal minds smart vibes but not as smart nor nerdy lmao) however, she’s never discovered her limits or even knew if she had any. she skipped a couple of grades and graduated at age 15 (nearly 16 but she’s a summer baby lol). she’s intelligent to an extent that she’s even yet to fathom.

she chose the route of psychology and criminology with her fascination of studies and documentaries on serial killers and things of the like and that all sparked in high school (but she’s not like obsessed w them ok ajkcsnj i wanna make sure that’s clear) – she’s a few credits shy of her masters, but she’s not rushing on finishing.

studying always came easy to her, so she found a lot of time on her hands. with that time, she taught herself her way around more creative makeup through youtube videos. that eventually led to taking classes over the summer leading her to her now second year as a makeup artist for frightland. all for the fun of it. she’s all about that scary shit, even though she’s quite the jumpy person -- she loves it.

also, she does work for a camera store where she mainly just develops film and checks people out, but that always takes a backseat to frightland when the time comes ‘round. she has a lot of time on her hands

she’s such a kind and gentle soul that would genuinely never hurt anyone intentionally. however, once her mind is made up, that’s what she’ll stick to and she’ll try to let you down in the nicest way possible.

she’s a very sentimental person. she has a box of things (key chains, post cards, polaroids, etc.) that she likes to keep with her and add to whenever something, she feels, memorable happens.

she loves literally every genre of music except classical & heavy metal, but even then she’ll sit & listen to it if that’s what you’d like to listen to

her aesthetic is all warm tones tbh: yellows, oranges, reds, pinks. gold jewelry is also something you’ll always find on her person whether it be in the form of rings, earrings (hoops to be specific), necklaces.

she has an anklet with a very small heart charm that you’ll never see her without. it’s one of her favorite things she owns. she sees it as a form of a lucky charm.

( TROIAN BELLISARIO, CISFEMALE, SHE/HER ) JULIENNE (Jules) VESTRIT was just hired. the TWENTY FIVE year old seems pretty CONFIDENT and CREATIVE, but they’re also STUBBORN and GUARDED. i heard that they like to CRAFT CANDLES/SOAPS when they aren’t working as a SET DESIGNER at Frightland

(A little later than expected, but under the cut will be a few bulletpoints to help you get to know Jules a little before we get started!)

First things first, Jules grew up without a mother. She doesn’t really know why, as it’s something her father refused to talk about, and it has left a pretty human sized hole in her heart. 

(tw: Mentions of abuse)Her dad was less than desirable as a father. When rules were broken he would prefer to beat the sense back into her rather than talk things out or punish her like a reasonable parent. Despite the poor relationship she loves him more than anything, he’s still her father, and spends a lot of time visiting him in the hospital, although she isn’t open about that. 

The relationship she had with her father and her upbringing have left her guarded. She struggles to let people into her life and to trust, which is something I’m interested in seeing played out. 

Her mother owned a little candle shop and her father took over when she left/disappeared. As soon as Jules was old enough to stand behind the counter it became one of her daily chores, and she even crafts some of the candles herself, as well as soaps in her free time. Anything to do with scents is kind of her passion. 

Her other passion, the one that brought her to frightland, is designing. With a drunkard for a father I’m sure you can imagine a lot of the housekeeping and making the less than desirable place they had lived in fell onto Jules, and she loved it. Other than working at the family owned business, that’s the only thing she’s ever done. 

When her father got sick she let the shop go deciding it was too much for one girl to keep up with on her own. She isn’t sure if that was the right decision, and she continues to craft in her free time.

alexandra go (preferably alex) was born go joonhee in the incheon province of south korea to the incredibly wealthy go family. 

as the youngest daughter she spent the majority of her life spoiled, not expected to work or to support herself. 

in fact her future was all planned out, she’d marry another rich heir and spend the rest of her days as a dawdling socialite.

but when she was sixteen she went to study abroad in america (manhattan specifically) and fell in love with the study of culture and art, she began developing dreams of her own. 

so she studied hard and was admitted into new york university to study art history. 

her ability to network served her well, by twenty two she’d become a lucrative art curator and dealer for galleries around the country

but when her family called her home insisting it was time for her to settle down and get married, alex refused 

thus she found her networks cut off, and the business she once loved was closed off her to 

unemployed she was forced to seek employment elsewhere, hence her job at frightland now. 

it’s not her first pick (alex actually hates horror movies) but she’ll take what she can get in her current situation. 

as far as her personality goes, frigid is a good word to describe her. she grew up in an environment where she was expected to be perfect and that’s the facade she keeps up. she generally distances herself from the other employees partly because of her own shy and introverted nature. she likes things done a certain way and will openly share if she feels they aren’t being done correctly. she’s a stickler for rules. a lot of her is just an empty shell she has yet to explore as she was molded into the picture perfect bride by her parents, she hasn’t found herself.

ANGEL COHEN was just hired. the 19 year old seems pretty CHARMING and IMAGINATIVE, but they’re also MYSTERIOUS and RECKLESS. i heard that they like to HANG OUT ON THE FIELDS OR WATCH HORROR MOVIES when they aren’t working as a SCARE ACTOR at Frightland. 

bringing you the wreck that is angel cohen (( tw: mentions of drugs, alcohol and suicide )) 

Born Angel Robyn Cohen, Angel grew up right outside Nevada. Her family constisted of her mom, dad and bigger brother.

When Angel was fifteen, her mom died of alcohol poisoning and the year after her dad died of suicide

This devastated her, and of course her bigger brother

Angel began drinking to drown her sorrows, which a sixteen year old definitely shouldn’t – but with no parents left and her brother working two jobs he was more worried about money than Angel’s grief

This made Angel secretive and a very closed person, if anyone would bring up her parents she’d imminently try and change the subject or leave the spot

In the following years her brother and her got closer than ever, depending on themselves

Last year they decided to move for the better, and found a small house in Abbadon 

Angel now works at Frightland to help pay the rent 

She’s social, though can be closed off when asked about personal life

Likes her job very much, she’s always loved halloween so this job was a perfect fit for sure

Still drinks a lot, and has recently begun using drugs secretly

           — BACKSTORY (TRIGGER WARNING: murder, abuse, suicide attempt, selfharm)

Beckett was born and raised in New York City, in the kind of home most kids weren’t happy to talk about. Her parents had been one of those couples that were great in the beginning, until something screwed it all up - that being the affair her father had just months after they adopted the baby blonde. 

She was the only child in their family, and upon her father’s mistress getting pregnant, she went to live with her mother and grandmother in Eugene, Oregon. She was three when the divorce was finalized, and didn’t understand until much later as to why her parents were separating. 

She and her mother moved down the street when she was still in pre-school, and thus began some of the best years of her life. She did wonderfully in school, and excelled in her extra-curriculars, deciding at a young age that she wanted to be a dancer, and enjoying the keyboard she had in her bedroom when she wasn’t taking lessons. But the best part of it all, was her very best friend, Amy. The two were nearly inseparable from the moment they called one another a friend, and it just bloomed from there, up until graduation. 

With college on their minds, they parted ways, and so did Beckett’s short-lived path to happiness. Deciding on one of the best schools in Pennsylvania, she left with nothing but her bags and a blossoming ambition. And, things were great at first. Until she met Keith. The two were an average couple at first, going on dates and stealing kisses in the halls. But, after Keith joined a frat and started partying with his ‘brothers’, everything went downhill. 

The abuse started small at first. Verbal slurs. A slap across the face. But, it didn’t take long to escalate, and Beckett didn’t know what to do. It wasn’t until Spring Break rolled around that she was given an answer. She and Keith got into the fight of a lifetime, upon finding out that she was sleeping with somebody else, and in a struggle to save her own life as he pinned her against the fridge by her throat, she stabbed him. She managed to save her own life, but the aftermath and collateral of taking his took more of a toll than anybody expected. 

Beckett had already turned to self-harm as a relief, during the stint of their relationship, but calling herself a killer was what drug the blade across her wrist, hoping to end it all. This landed her six months in a rehab facility. 

She’s in a better mindset, now that she’s out. But, losing her job only weeks upon settling back into a rhythm was just too much - and that’s when Beckett called Amy, asking for the one person she truly loved to come get her, and take care of her for a while. This is how Beckett landed her job as a ticket vendor at Frightland, finding the gory insides a little much for her liking.

hi guys! i’m syd and here’s some info about my bby garrett 

garrett had a difficult childhood, he was the only child to a couple who really didn’t want to have kids 

his mother was a waitress at the local diner and his father was a drunken mechanic. his mother loved him as much as she could but she loved other things more, alcohol, drugs. he would face the wrath of his father’s hand more than his fathers love.

garrett would run away from home a lot, would make little forts in the forest where he could hide and spend time alone.

he passed in school, wasn’t an outstanding student and most people didn’t notice him in the hallways 

he tried to go to school but knew he wasn’t smart enough so instead he went on to work as a mechanic (like father like son, eh) 

garrett began sleeping with his best friend and ended up getting her pregnant

it wasn’t easy for him hearing that he was going to be a father because he had such a terrible role model growing up he knew that he couldn’t be a father so he told her he couldn’t do it and he left

he ended up joining the military and was shipped overseas for three years

while he was gone he thought about daphne every day, wanting to apologize and tell her how much he missed her, but he knew he didn’t have the right

after he was discharged he found out about a security guard opening at frightland and that is how he’s here now
