frenchie is stedes paralel at first he is useless, can't do much then he realizes he is good at sewing things together (i think he's a metaphor for like being the family glue)

, we find out he is tied to aristocracy and is more familiar with that life, that's why he's not good at being a pirate he is more aligned with stede. then s2. Frenchie locks his feelings in a box(just like stede, jim and izzy did) and we find out he is emotionally constipated(the opposite of ed and others) and learns new skills. And roach opened the box(of indigo which changes izzy too) but he didnt know what it is he was like blue dirt?? THEN.

roach puts a curse(allergies) on frenchie just like ed put a curse on stede with the red suit which is a metaphor for ed, their love,etc. ed is the devil who cursed stede and the crew.

and then they become captain and chef. (also the beautiful body thing me-ow.)

Frenchie x Roach for the ship opinion game

Ahh another one we don't see so much of but something I love ❤️❤️

So my HC for them is that Frenchie is a late night snacks kinda guy - he'll wake up in the middle of the night with a craving (SOUP!) and once, when Roach was doing his midnight meal prep with a side of experimentation, Frenchie walked in basically crying over wanting soup "right now!!"

Roach, finally having figured out this is who's been fucking up his kitchen, gives him some soup just to get rid of him but then Frenchie is all 😮 "it's so good".

It starts a secret late night ritual where Roach will leave some interesting snacks for him to nibble on at night, and Frenchie would leave little drawings of his face when he was eating it (yes frenchie invented emojis)

More often than not Roach had him in the galley, Frenchie wandering in for a treat while Roach smoked and chopped, distracting him from whatever was on the stove so he’d tip Frenchie back onto the table.
