Did they forget the dozens if not hundreds of minecraft/roblox and other similar content cishet white creators constantly getting exposed for grooming on youtube? Its so fucking commin it became a meme and its not even treated as a surprise anymore when a content creator with a young audience gets outed as a groomer/pedo.
Also its not like tumblr has that many cishet white men around, most people here are some sort of lgbt and even then are we forgetting the whole toonimal drama? I can see Lilia lending a hand with looking after the kid, and some of the younger ones letting them join in with games (although human squishieness may prove to be a dilemma - two-legged friends may not be quite as resilient as centaurs lol)

MC Younger Sibling
If the kid was with mc from the beginning they will be closest with the first years by far. They grew and matured together, it’s only natural for them to be so close. Their bond would be stronger than the boys have with mc, so if the kid moves out they will be going with them. As for the rest they would be just as protective of them as they are of mc. Malleus in particular would be extra protective. Every other human thinks he’s a ferocious beast except the two relatives of Crowley, he’d spoil the kid rotten if mc wasn’t there. Silver and Lilia are also particularly fond of the little munchkin. Lilia just loves kids in general and Silver wants to protect whatever mc holds dear.
Tiny humans in General
Now if we’re going outside the story, things are very different for a lot of the boys.
Riddle, Azul, and Idia would avoid the kid as much as possible. It’s not that they utterly despise kids, they’re just inexperienced and need to warm up to them. Once they know how to deal with them they’ll stop running off.
Idia will immediately try to run away as soon as the kid enters the same room. He does not do well with strangers, especially loud ones, and is prone to lashing out when backed into a corner. He should definitely not be left alone with a child nearby, there’s a huge risk he might accidentally injure them.
Azul has only seen kids on the other side of his tank and has never interacted with them. He is aware humans are much more fragile than centaurs and is worried he might scare or harm them. Usually he flees to his octopot to hide in until they’re gone. If he can’t he stays near his master, using them as a shield of sorts. Give him time to adjust and he’ll be tossing kids into the air with his tentacles for some fun before you know it.
Riddle does not do well in loud and stressful environments for long periods of time without breaks. He does not handle stress well and will be overwhelmed soon. You should introduce him slowly so he can adjust. Given time he will become a top notch babysitter. He has no problem with cuddling up for a story or nap time.
Ace (cardinal) and Epel absolutely hate any kids that are not their own or their masters.
Ace loses lots of feathers from their sticky hands and hates how they always bother him for a ride. He will go full animal to hide in places where they can’t get to him. Otherwise he’s very good at keeping them entertained. He teaches them magic tricks and harmless pranks. He’s happy to let family have his feathers, he often uses them for tickle attacks.
Epel will do whatever he can to keep unwanted kids away. He hates how they call him cute and keep trying to play because he’s just a bunny with antlers, that means he’s friendly! This is not true, jackalope centaurs are known for their stubbornness and willingness to fight. Plus it hurts when they pull on his antlers. On the other hand he puts up with being called cute because he doesn’t have to worry about someone getting mad at him for correcting them. No karens for him. He’ll be more tolerant of being picked up and hugs, though in any pictures he’ll have a grumpy face of defeat.
Bunny centaurs are known for being very good with kids and often make perfect pets for big families. Cater is no exception. He soaks up all the compliments kids give me. He’s happy to play pretend with them, do their hair and makeup, read, anything. They don’t judge him and just want to have fun.
Jack loves playing with them due to his high energy levels. Absolutely loves playing fetch and going for a swim with ‘em. And once they’re all tuckered out you can find them all curled up for a nap. He doesn’t hide his emotions around kids, they don’t pose a threat.
Ruggie also has high energy so he doesn’t mind running around with them for an hour or so. His favorite part is all the pets and snacks they give him. Be careful of his weight or you might end up with an unhealthy hyena on your hands.
Though Floyd is another with high energy he can also be just as low energy. He only likes playing when he’s in the mood and will not respond well if pestered. Best to keep kids away, let him play with the teens.
Kalim comes from a respectable breeder that takes the utmost care of all pets in their possession. There were both human and centaur kids running around when he was there, so he knows how to be careful around them. A fun thing fox centaurs can do is roll around like a wheel in their half form. He has a lot of fond memories tucking kiddos close to his belly and somersaulting around the yard. It’s hard to get him dizzy.
Rook is a curious fellow and will happily entertain children to see how they react. His favorite game is hide and sneak to no one's surprise. He’s not allowed to be the seeker because he’s too good at it. Learned his lesson so he makes sure to let himself be found every so often. Unfortunately banned from playing tag he keeps making kids cry. His face gets scary when he’s it.
Ortho and Cheka are also children.
Malleus likes to be around them because it satisfies his need to protect something. Loves going tiny dragon and sleeping on them. Dragon hoarding behavior.
Lilia is same as canon when it comes to kids.
Leona, Jamil, and Sebek prefer to not be around kids but aren’t going to run for the hills like the first three. They just kinda go “ugh, annoying.” and continue with their day.
Leona is very tolerant of them and doesn’t really mind them using him as a jungle gym. There’s no need to worry about them climbing over the manticore either, no scorpion tail for him. He will correct them if they do any tail pulling and such. Boys get a gentle bap or roared at. Girl's get a growl. He tolerates females more. He secretly loves when kids fall asleep with him. It’s a huge sign of trust to fall asleep when touching another for centaurs. They will take this very seriously and make sure you’re comfy as possible.
Snakes can be scary to some so Jamil doesn’t have to worry about them as much. The brave ones that do approach will be neither welcomed nor shooed away unless he’s busy. He doesn’t mind entertaining their questions or letting them get a closer look at his features. He does like when they touch his scales, the warmth of their hands feel nice.
Sebek will shoo them away if he’s busy with anything. He doesn’t like being interrupted and has no qualms harshly correcting kids that test his patience. If he’s asked to watch them he lays down on the side while they run around doing kid things. His eyes are unblinking as he babysits, taking the job very seriously. Unless the kids ask him to join in he just stays like that. Now if we’re swimming that’s a whole different topic. Sebek loves water and will happily play in it with anyone. You can see him giving the kids rides pretending to be their boat or he’ll dive under with them hanging on with snorkeling masks.
The rest of the boys don’t explicitly swing one way or another.
Vil and Trey have no problem interacting with them but don’t seek out to do so either. Vil does like doing their hair and makeup. Trey likes to give them treats and has fun baking with them. They both enjoy playing pretend too.
Deuce, Jade, and Silver will initiate play time as much as they don’t. They rarely say no to having fun with them but will sometimes seek out a hiding spot from being overstimulated by the loud and chaotic energy kids have.
