Nothing too small
If this looks funky, it's because I'm on mobile but I couldn't not post this.
Last night as I was half asleep, I was thinking about how early I have to get up today and thinking about how I wasn't going to enjoy it bc I stayed up late. I am admittedly a bit of a caffeine addict, but moreso I lean on coffee as a comfort thing. So as I was laying there I mentally called up Loki, or any guide who wants to take it (but I find myself admittedly defaulting to Loki for requests I think are dumb) and I just.
"Can I ask for coffee? Can I ask you to make guilt-free coffee happen tomorrow? I want to get a coffee but I'm so nervous about money right now, and I'm damn near broke, but... Coffee. Can you make that happen?"
I never ask for things I deem too small, insignificant, or generally "dumb requests." Today I got a notification from the app of the coffee shop I go to, saying I'd get 3 dollars (half of the cost of my order) off. My mom has the app but she didn't have that special offer. It was just me.
And as if that wasn't enough, a friend of my mom's sent her money on a whim and so my mom said I no longer need to pay her back for the witchy market we went to a while ago and I went home. I'm no longer panicking about money.
I got coffee today without any guilt, so tonight I'll be watching anime with Loki and giving anyone who wants offerings a lil smth. I'm taking a huge step towards learning that I don't have to feel guilty when asking for something, and that it matters to my deities if it matters to me.
