Is there a story behind how Frog Prince Edward Pollywollyoxinfree got his name?
I got him years ago in college as a gift from a friend who I played D&D with, and I think frogs were an inside joke because Slaad featured heavily in one of the campaigns. I don't know if I remember the whole name I came up with, let alone all the possible factors that went into it, but here's what I can remember: I was really into cowboy bebop at the time and Ed was my favorite character, and one of the most memorable episodes is called "stairway to heaven" I think? Also I had recently discovered I like Earl Grey. Anyway this is the name as far as I recall:
Frog Prince Edward Pollywollyoxinfree, Chairman of the Elven Circle of Toadstools, Guardian of the Stairway to Heaven, the Earl of Grey.
Thanks for asking! I'd honestly forgotten a lot of the context until I thought back about it.
