it's important to me that my followers on tumblr know that when a few days ago i got a question in dreamwidth about how many characters i ship frodo with, my immediate thought was "well if i was going to ship that little man with anybody, it would obviously be his dark mirror, gollum!" and i wholeheartedly stand by it. officially the #1 slash ship in middle earth, to me.
