just thinking about Julie and how she wanted to live in Colony House at first... and last episode we found out she had to take care of Ethan bc her parents fell apart and suddenly her wanting to be up there makes so much sense! Because she saw an opportunity to be free. and bc when her family tragedy happened she didn't just lose her baby brother she also lost her parents in a way and she had to take on so much responsibility, she lost so much time when she should've been a carefree teenager and instead had to take care of a kid while also dealing with trauma...

and on top of all that ever since she came to this town she almost lost her brother, thought she lost her mom twice, had to watch the whole night waiting to see if she'll have to see her dad die before her eyes or if he'll be okay... and she was trapped in some kind of torture prison nightmare to top it all off... give this girl a break!!!

finally caught up with all "From" episodes... what to say? Very, very good storytelling, it's super clear and well executed, I don't understand people complaining about the mysteries not being "resolved", I feel like I'm back in time to when "LOST" was airing. Baby, it's about childhood trauma, it's always been. The theme is LITERALLY in the theme song.

Loving the vibe of the town atm: all these people, especially men, talking about how "broken" or soon to be so some women are while they're the ones who're clearly broken and refusing to see the truth as per usual. In the meantime, I think that the people who follow the "broken" women actually will have a chance. Things are getting dire for Jim, Boyd and Ellis and, frankly, maybe it's cause I'm tired tonight but yeah, I'd be okay with that. Growth or Death to controlling men or cut the show, I'm done.

#i feel like saying a brave thing tonight but I'm done with Ellis. His character is literally doing nothing interesting #Jim being Jim. left to contemplate his drink bc. surprise! his father was an alcoholic. would never seen that one coming #Boyd is being tested again and this time he's failing big big time.
