I know its been a repeat tig for a while but why was it ITrapped and not 'Choka" who manipulated Chance

also the murder of cancer makes no sense bcuz I mean, even if ITrapped had the key why are the chances the huads would let them in??

itrapped could've probably used the key to sneak in somehow, but iirc we don't have much info on how the banlands works in the forsaken universe so we can't really make too many assumptions]]

i lowk dunno. maybe they didn't know too much about mm12 so the first thought was to choose itrapped since he was seen as the greedy one (even when he was still recognized as one of the april fools hackers, idk why but i'd always see some content of him being related to money in some way)]]

All of Barret's meta messages in Remake have the same theme of media.

The first one in chapter 7 includes TV and speaks of them having no choice but to do as people expect. This is a message to OG fans forcing them to stick to the OG script. TV is how OG fans view them by watching a screen.

The chapter 12 message refers to the well known idea that Cloud will die to satisfy some people. Barret mentions movies in his reply that the leading man - Cloud - sticks around until the credits roll, meaning Cloud isn't dying for anyone. Ever. The movie reference is a nod to the fact AC is what spawned this idea and it's a movie.

In chapter 15, Barret yells into a radio that they're not scared, running or hiding from anyone. This is saying that no matter what fans threaten, the story won't be changed and all those people who spent years bullying them and the fandom are gonna be the ones crying. This is a mixed media covering interviews and internet.

In chapter 16 Mayor Domino brings up books and paper. His words are referring to Nojima being wronged over the years and forced to write FF7 in a specific way that wasn't how he envisioned it. Barret is speaking as a character to his creator and agreeing they were done wrong, but now they can make things right. The script is written on paper.

Gotta say, the one I love most is Barret's threat that certain people are gonna regret it. He's even got his shades on. Prepare for mega most delightful shade ever ❤️

Fun New Vegas fact that I don’t think many people have cottoned on to:

In Camp Forlon Hope, there is a quest to turn in NCR dog tags to the quartermaster, in return for a small amount of caps, NCR reputation, and, behind the scenes, Camp Forlorn Hope “morale points”. Up to a maximum of 15 dog tags will affect the camp’s morale. Of course, you’re not likely to have run into that many dead NCR troops in your travels, and that’s (as you would expect) the only source of NCR dog tags.

Here’s the twist: you cannot pickpocket equipped items off of npcs in this game, and every NCR trooper has their dogtag equipped on their person. But the devs knew this and saw this problem coming. So they gave every trooper in Forlorn Hope an additional dogtag that wouldn’t be equipped in their inventory. Allowing you to very easily rack up additional tags without having to murder any troopers yourself. Or, if you prefer efficiency, you can kill anyone at Forlorn Hope and find two dog tags on their body for this reason.
