Christmas At Disney
Christmas was always a special time in the Gold household and had been since the first Christmas Rumple and Belle spent together after their marriage. Though they had been through their ups and downs, once Belle found out about the Christmas tradition in this world, she had made sure that their home was always festive and decorated for the holiday. But this year was a little different as Rumple sought to show her parts of the world she had not seen. With a few charms and protective enchantments, they were able to cross the town line safely to make their trip. They had started in New York and made their way down the East Coast through the month of December until they reached their destination in Florida, where Rumple was determined to show Belle how this world viewed fairy tales like the very lives they lived in their own world.
“Rumple, are you sure that this is Cinderella’s castle?” Belle asked as they approached the glittering castle in the center of the park.
“I am, love, though it does not compare to the real thing in our world,” he chuckled as he walked with her.
Belle smiled and walked closer, looking at all the detail placed into the castle. This world had an interesting spin on the fairy tales that they had heard about from the world that she and Rumple had come from. Even her own tale had been changed and rewritten to different versions, but she didn’t mind because all of them were beautiful and carried the same message of looking beyond the outer appearance to the man underneath the beast.
“Do you remember when I came to your home in our land?” she asked as they walked in.
“I do,” he said, grinning at her. “You wondered why I kept it so dark.”
Belle nodded. “I was cleaning when I fell down and ripped the curtains down by accident. You caught me.”
The memory of that was something precious to Belle because it was the first moment she really got to look in his eyes and see the man who could care for her. Now they were married and had been for quite some time now.
“Mama! Papa!” a tiny voice cried from a little girl who was lingering in front of her parents, bringing their attention to her.
A sweet little girl with deep curls and bright blue eyes looked up at her with a smile as she tugged on Belle’s hand toward the castle. Their daughter, a sweet little one who was just a little older than four, had been so excited about this part of their trip in particular since Rumple had mentioned it months ago.
“Yes, Little Love?” Belle asked, smiling.
“Ella’s house! Ella’s house!” she squealed, pointing to the castle as they approached it and were nearing the point to check in.
“Yes, my sweet, that’s Ella’s house,” Rumple grinned, touching her cheek lovingly.
They arrived to the castle and made their way inside to check in to the suite that Rumple had booked for the night, just for Rosie. All she had wanted for Christmas was to stay in Ella’s castle, so Rumple had made all the arrangements and decided they would spend Christmas Eve in the castle together and have Christmas morning breakfast with Cinderella, though they explained to their daughter that she wouldn’t be the real Cinderella they knew back home in Storybrooke. Rosie was so excited and could hardly contain herself as they received the key and were lead up to the suite.
“Mama look! So pretty!” Rosie declared as they came into the room.
“It is very pretty, Little Love,” Belle said as she came behind her daughter and smiled, putting down their smaller bags that they had brought in to stay the night.
Rosie ran around the suite, looking into everything and finding little treasures that were left for her by the staff per Rumple and Belle’s instructions when they had booked the suite months ago. Presents of sweets and small toys were all hers to find from Santa and she gleefully did so. Belle smiled and watched their daughter, grateful that they had come on this vacation.
“Mama, Papa…a tree!” she declared, coming back from the living area of the suite, pulling Belle’s hands.
Belle smiled and followed while Rumple lagged behind as he used his cane to hobble in. In the living room, there was a tree set up with lights and beautiful decorations, including stockings on the mantle with their names. She hadn’t expected any of this, but Rumple just smiled as he came in, as if he had arranged everything.
“Did you…?” she asked, grinning at her husband.
“I may have requested a wee bit,” he replied, giving her a warm smile as their daughter danced around happily. “But it is Christmas, after all.”
That night, after a phone call with Emma, Neal, Henry, and Sophia, the three settled in for the night before Santa would come pay a visit to Rosie. Belle thought about how lucky she was to have all of this and knew that she would never take for granted the things they had been given, no matter the season. They were lucky to have each other after all they had been through to get where they were now.
When Rosie was fast asleep, she and Rumple snuck out to lay the presents under the tree with care, giving each other a kiss as they finished before retreated to bed again, dreaming sweet dreams of the morning to come.
Boardwalk. Glee, the early years.

Okay but imagine, if you will, a disgruntled Meyer taking ink or makeup to the tattoo. Putting a cock on her, clothing her, etc. Or (even better), Charlie explaining some back story to it about how he may have let his guard down a touch and slipped
mentioning his affections for one kid who had the balls to stand up to him when they were younger and, ultimately, because some big shot wasn’t cool with it, it came down to a naked lady on his arm or not getting out in one piece. And Meyer blushes
And feels horrendous about it and Charlie’s like, what difference does the ink make? Is it unsightly? Sure. But it’s a small price to pay. And secretly, painting “the broad” up to look like something decent becomes a fun winddown activity for both.
And, sometimes, Meyer well absently start stroking Charlie’s arm in bed and Charlie will playfully accuse him of looking her more. Or Meyer will “whine” about the way he looks at her when they’re together or make a crack about him being to close to
or "spending time alone with her" and ultimately these two pathetic cutie pies work her in to their relationship in a goofy, friendly way because, prior to, it made Charlie so uncomfortable he'd rather have chewed his arm off than let Meyer see it &
be hurt by it. And, when they're apart abd Charlie catches a glimpse of her in the mirror or something he thinks, not of the dame chilling out there, but the jokes cracked about her and of the man who changed the way he viewed her.
Sorry. I might have gotten carried away there, but this image of the two of them in bed and Meyer turning the tattoo on Charlie's arm into like Al Jolson and singing Mammy to him made me smile too hard to see this as 100% bad.
YES GOOD!!
Important news update from Amanda: the naked lady tattoo opens the door to so much tattoo fluffffffff
Also now I’m imagining Meyer quietly drawing over her eyes with a pen and Charlie is like ??/ and Meyer just, “she’s watching me, charlie. she sees.”
DO THEY NAME HER??
Also, since she’s on an arm, do they start referring to Charlie’s masturbation habits as “spending time with Eleanor*”?
*or whatever they name her. I was tempted to name her Chelsea because they would name her something New York related, but apparently that wasn’t really used as a given name until the 1960s

You rock! Thank you so much.
I'm going directly to your ask. "Pillow biter." I'm exhausted. Just literally say "Meyer and Charlie sittin' in a tree f-u-c-k-i-n-g" and get it over with. We know it. The writers know it. The cast /has/ to know it. JUST SAY IT. WE KNOW WHAT YOU ARE. SAY IT. OUT LOUD. !!NOT STRAIGHT!!
RIGHT??
I mean, I can understand why they won’t but. C’mon. You have to be one bland piece-of-stale-bread heteronormative viewer to not see how damn queer this narrative is. Which, admittedly, I suppose their target audience is bland pieces of stale bread in the form of aging American men who want to live vicariously through a glorification of hypermasculinity but.
But there is only queer subtext surrounding this narrow portion of the show.I just. It’s only here. When you have modern-day content creators in the form of writers, directors, actors, and editors, who are deliberately choosing words and actions and camera movements that carry certain weights and implications in the eyes of modern-day viewers who know how to analyze media. A queer reading is just the only one that makes sense.
If you know anything about media analysis and how queer subtext operates, it’s basically in neon flashing lights and I want to put my head through a wall with how damn almost-canon it is.
