Maybe the nice thing about Gotham was that it was almost always dark and rainy. It made it so that she could pretend that the tears on her face was just wetness from the rain. She wasn’t thinking, all she wanted was to stop this pain in her heart. Astra didn’t want her anymore and Raa-Un didn’t know what else to do. There was no one else that needed her. But at least she could get someone to care that she existed for a few moments.
Wayne manor came into view. This wasn’t a good idea, but it was the only option she had. She landed and jabbed her non injured finger on the intercom several times. There wasn’t a response fast enough and she lifted her leg and kicked an entire hole in the side of the fence. “COME ON OUT NIGHTSTAR!” There were unspoken rules about the conduct between heroes and villains in Gotham and this broke so many. She sunk to a crouch, head in her hands while she waited. If she could just have something to hold onto, even if it was this, that’s all she needed.
