Studio Portraiture Research
For our portraiture class, I carried out some research on how I would like to light my portraits and position my model. I will attach below the research and outcome of both portraits.

actor headshots
my actor headshots that i shot last week.
in the first head shot i had the lighting set up for a front lit headshot by having a large soft box set up above and pointing down.
in the second photograph i had the a 45 degree lighting set up where i had the soft box set up to the left hand side and a reflector bouncing the light back onto the right side of the face.
FRONTAL LIGHTING
CAMERA- CANON EOS 550D, LENS 18-55mm
CAMERA SETTINGS- MANUAL MODE, ISO 100, F.8, 1/125, LARGE JPEG, AUTO FOCUS, WHITE BALANCE FLASH
Lighting positioned directly in front of the model to highlight her full face, wind effect created by a reflector being fanned in front of the model.
Model - Emma.
