I’m nowhere near ace and it doesn’t make sense to me either. There’s this commercial for a car that people are apparently turned on by?? Like, if there’s a person driving it, ok sorta, but there wasn’t?? They were literally attracted to the car. Wtf.

I think we’ve seen and been weirded out by the same commercial. Is it the Fiat one? (That or there’s ANOTHER one with the same strategy.)

Same. I have a lot of the same problems. It irks me when people call me pretty. Especially when I'm not trying to be.

ugh yes I find that very irksome as well. For me it's not as much an issue with people on tumblr because I know they know the deal, but in irl definitely extremely frustrating sometimes. anyway, my sympathies, friend.

I am so glad I am not the only person who has that issue. I generally just go with “aro until decisively proven otherwise” but I do question that a lot more than I would like.

Right? It is so confusing. I suspect it is partly because the parameters of romantic attraction are not clear-cut, so saying 'I feel this' or 'I don't feel this' is very difficult at times.

Hannah: I've put in quite a bit of time working with the public, and most certainly pretended to practically nothing like my real self. Otherwise nah, always been an open book.

Lucifer: I'm pretty proud of finally coming to terms with some very important things and getting out of an extremely toxic relationship with both my parents. Happier than I've been in years, and feeling more confident than I have in my whole life. I have a chosen family, and they're all wonderful people that actually do give a rat's ass about me. :)
