@overelegantstranger was talking about how embarrassing it was to be in a booster seat in the car when he was like 10 and nobody else was in a booster seat and I was like "Wow..... When I was 10 I was in the bed of my grandma's pickup truck with all my cousins, laying down flat so the cops didn't catch us"

It's weird when a lot of your problems are like. Mental health related. And/or low-level physical health I guess. I keep finishing weeks feeling like that week has been hard, exhausting, and packed, but when I look through, it's been a week where we do normal things or even less than normal and all the difficulties have come from inside us. And it's impossible to describe them even if I feel comfortable being that vulnerable to people which I don't always. Even when I say it like this it sounds like Bow and I have been having conflict but that's not the issue at all, that's not what's happening. We're not fighting each other! We're each fighting some sorts of evil spirits or something that we're both respectively haunted by, and also helping each other. It's really hard to explain "it's been extremely emotionally intense for most of the past two years, and mostly there's not been a material reason for that, it's just happening."

I'm grateful to be doing this in a house with a job that's not killing me and currently no potentially fatal health problems obviously. It's great that I don't have a lot of other problems on top of it, I'm really happy about that. It just makes me feel like I live in some kind of mirror verse that contains objects I cannot adequate explain to people who ask what I do all day.

Like, what have you been stressed about. Idk. Everything and nothing. Nothing is happening. Even when something is happening it's usually not the main issue. Our boiler has been broken for almost two weeks, that's not even the problem. Bow got ahold of an electrician about it and we're waiting around for him to find a replacement for the part that's the issue. That's a drop in the bucket compared to everything else but the everything else is mists and cobwebs, I can't point to it, it's all in stuff that's happened before and will happen again but doesn't get any easier.

Also my fucking foot is doing the thing where the bridge of my toes is extremely painful and difficult to walk on. So I can't even go on my WALK. my MENTAL HEALTH WALK. After a week of not going for a walk because it's hot, and then another half week of not going because I was trying to pace. AUGH. It's always stupid little stuff like that. My stupid toe hurts real bad, I have a headache, I'm unusually exhausted, my allergies are acting up. Petty stuff. How do you even explain that to someone who has, like, Real Problems. Why don't you do stuff. Large number of small issues have penned me into a state where all I can do is lie in bed and feel ill and in pain. Idk!!!

we went out for dinner to the special occasion pub (pub we go to on special occasions) and I got a dessert called a lemon cheesecake bomb and it came shaped like an actual lemon. Never did I think I'd see such a thing in person this is the height of sophistication to me.

Coming up in September I will have been going to my therapist for two years....I cannot decide if I should continue. This is the most consistent I've been able to be with therapy by far. Lots of reasons: don't have to leave the house, he lets me type, also he's a trans dude so I feel less reluctant to mention certain things I'm uncomfortable discussing with a cisgender therapist. And I like him, he's fine and chill. I just don't know if talk therapy works for me? I don't feel relieved afterwards, and I don't feel like I've had much in the way of useful revelations.

I don't know whether to keep going and assume that more time will make me more comfortable sharing more (not impossible; I am a VERY slow bloomer with strangers) or whether it's just not worth it. I do feel it's like...marginally useful for my social skills to be practicing discussing my feelings with a stranger, so it's not NOTHING, but it's not really shifting anything major I guess. Idk.
