Frost - Age of Fading and Doom
Black Metal from Hungary
Frost, one of the veteran bands of the Hungarian black metal scene, has returned with their new studio album Age Of Fading And Doom. The album is another milestone in the band's career since 1996 and a worthy continuation of their releases in recent years. True to their genre, Frost continues to deal with dark, mystical, and misanthropic themes, but the dark side of the human soul is increasingly emphasized. The band does not want to highlight any single song on the album, as each track is the result of a collaborative creative process. Musically, one should not expect any radical innovations from the album, but pushing the boundaries of the genre is not uncommon in the songs. However, a more melodic guitar solo or a more colorful rhythm pattern will not deter die-hard fans of the genre. As a bonus, the album also includes a newly recorded version of an earlier song in Hungarian.
