“Wow, my sweet Loki, has it really been four years?” I say in amazement as I set a dish on the table. The long table stretched on forever, set with tons of food for us to share with our guests. It looked and smelled scrumptious. Smiling I stand up, my hands resting on my pregnant belly. The babies inside kicking and moving happily because of my excitement. The garden was set with flowers and ribbons, balloons and crepe paper, festive and beautiful. I walk over and rest my head on your shoulder, sighing happily as I watch Vali and Vika chase each other around.
Grinning like an idiot I nod. Heart in my throat at this special event I turn to Sally and kiss her cheek. “I am the happiest of all men ..”, I mumble, caressing her babybelly.
In the corner of my eyes I am aware of Vàli, who runs to the filled table, just to pick some fingerfood and to run away to his sister again.
“Oi! Mischief!”, I call behind him, but have to laugh.
“I wonder, ifst he manage to eat all before we have some guest around.”
