Lily Rose shares new single ‘Frozen Cake’
Lily Rose is a singer-songwriter raised in Adelaide. Playful, yet melodic, her music reflects influences of rock, indie and punk genres. She writes rhythm and plays guitar for her indie rock tunes, alongside her band mates Billy Burns, Lachie Carpenter and Zayd Blakers. Lily’s influences were derived by Aussie bands such as Hockey Dad, Spacey Jane and Frenzal Rhomb.
Her new single ‘Frozen Coke’ is about struggle and triumph and being alone, but not in a bad way. In Frozen Coke Lily Rose reminisces the insecurity’s and anxieties that come with being a teenager.
"In the chorus I use a metaphor of the dream catcher ‘blow my bad dreams away’ to show how you can push through anxieOes and mental health struggles,” she says.
