(I'm on a plane right now and can't do much in terms of more than decent photography on a cell phone.)
This Frozen II "Queen sisters" keychain, made by the wonderful and incredibly talented @isabelgillopez came in yesterday, and they are lovely! (Now I might consider purchasing the F2 and F1 adventure outfit keychains. 🤤)
Some of you asked to see more of my Frozen collection so here is a newish piece - Arendelle Castle! It’s from Disney’s Castle Collection and it lights up! (I always find the best collectibles are the ones that light up!) Definitely a cool addition to my collection.
Hello everyone! I wanted to show off my latest edition to my stuffed animal family and my ever growing Frozen collection: The Elsa bear from Build a Bear. I missed out on the first time the Frozen themed bears were available so I decided to grab an Elsa one while I could. I plan to add Anna the next time I go. 😊 ❄️❄️ Added a Nightlight baby dragon I found at the store for laughs and because I love my crossovers, but I no longer have the Nightlight as they have gone off to their new forever home. 😊
These just arrived and I'm shocked over the quality of these products. I love these 🥺. The lip gloss smells like caramel.
Whenever I visit home in NYC, I always make sure to pick up a few items from my collection to make my apartment here in Korea feel more like “home.”
These two girls came back with me and they’re stunning and beautiful as always. :)
That snowflake thing beneath them is actually a mousepad... one that I’ve bought before leaving Korea for vacation. I meant to use it for work but I think it looks better with them. :D
My Frozen Collection - Part 3
One thing in advance...please don't post one of these pictures outside of Tumblr! I trust the fandom here, but i don't want to see my pictures on Pinterest & Co. I do not want to advertise for me, this is a purely private matter!
What else can i say? It is liberating for me to share this with someone who can really understand that!
So finally here's the total view of my collection. Enjoy it! If you want to see more detailed pictures of each section please let me know...and...don't hesitate with comments or PMs to me!
How does it start? For aesthetic reasons and because i did not just want to set up the figurines, closely packed next to and behind each other, as many other collectors do. My problem at this state was, that i can't find a display case that's a) big enough and b) where should i place it. So i converted my already existing modular shelving system in the apartment to a Mega showcase, with dust protection and hidden lighting, additional decoration like synthetic snow, glitter, ice crystals, glittering background and more. I've tried to choose matching film images behind the bigger figurines in somehow the right context, but maybe i'll let me enlarge film clips as a photo on measure to replace that. Maybe. What i also plan is to change all red handles of some shelf parts against blue ones (fits better to snow and ice) and to paint/decorate the two cabinet doors with the Arendelle crocus, and maybe more paintings on the bigger wooden areas.
I'm still not completely satisfied and change something about it again and again. And the next big problem will be: where should i place any new figurine from Frozen II? Maybe i should expand the system to the top, put all the unpacked sets up there and reorganize the vacated space for new purchases, don't know yet.
The LE and classic Dolls (only original Disneystore) have also found the way to my heart, so I've expanded my collection, at least as far as i could afford. Some of the LE dolls from 2013 / 2014 have incredibly high prices, i saw offers between 700 and 1000 Euro for one single LE doll! The original price was about 70 - 84 Euro...that's sheer madness!
In that sense, i'm pretty crazy and succumbed to the Disney merchandising totally. But what can i say ... the figurines and dolls are so beautiful and i just could not help it! Additionally it also makes a difference if you have your favorite characters around you every time you come home. That really brings you down on a bad day: switch off the room light, activate the LED lighting in the shelf, sit and relax. This just works perfectly!
