Winter on Our Pond
Ice Ice Baby 🧊
Shippan Point at Sunday Sunset (viacarad1016)
Algy flew over to the big pond, in order to discover how it was faring in the wintry conditions, and was surprised to see that it too was covered in snow. He guessed that the water must be pretty thoroughly frozen underneath therefore, and would safely take the weight of quite a large fluffy bird – even one with a bright red tartan scarf – so, hopping cautiously onto the surface, he settled down on the snow to admire the picturesque scene from close quarters…
But having tried it out for a few minutes, Algy began to think that perhaps a snow-covered pond was more pleasant to look at than to sit upon. And when the snow clouds that he had seen approaching arrived overhead, and tiny flakes of sharp, hard snow began to fall on his hair feathers and scarf, he decided that maybe it was time to move on…

1:00 AM Full moon on frozen pond & snowy landscape
Winter is officially over. We had a decent amount of snow, but I’m happy to see the seasons change once again.
