Here is a commission I did recently based on otomiya’s fic Anna’s Revenge! I know I posted it yesterday but I wanted to give it its very own post bc it’s so big! It’s from 2 different parts of the story :D
This is actually an RP that I wrote in collaboration with @sapphicsierramist over a long period. We developed the story back and forth, and she was interested in seeing it as a full fic. So I took the text that we’d both written, changed it to past tense, tightened it up a little, combined some paragraphs to flow better. But in any case, this was more or less written by both of us.
It’s a long one. 😆
After a chaotic day of regal obligations, there was almost an audible exhale of relief from the castle of Arendelle. Finally. Things were still. The sun had already gone down, and the two royal sisters sat in their study by a roaring fire. Elsa flipped through a novel, some turgid historical piece free of any silly romantic affectation, and Anna just stargazed, lost in sleepless dreams.
Anna was reminiscing of their days as children...before Elsa was locked away. Out of nowhere a particular thought made her giggly and excited.
“Hey, Elsa? I know it’s kind of late, but I just had a super-fun idea! What if we had a good old-fashioned sleepover? You know, like we used to when we were little? We can play games, drink cocoa, roast marshmallows over a candle, tell scary stories...What do you say?”
Elsa had forgotten all the sleepovers they’d had before the incident. It had been a long time. Book still in her lap, she glanced up at her sister’s voice, a smile on her lips as she gave Anna her full attention. They must have been thinking the same thing.
“Well, considering I do have a day off tomorrow...let’s do it,” she grinned and set her book aside after marking the page.
“EEEEE I’m so excited!!” Anna squeaked. “Ok, ok. First I’ve gotta run and get my pajamas and sleeping bag!!”
And she dashed out the door.
“Don’t run too fast!” Elsa called after her, remembering how many times Anna had slipped and fallen in these halls since they were children. It seemed that even on carpets Anna often found a way to hurt herself.
The Snow Queen moved to her room, slipped into her silk purple nightgown, and even let her hair down for once. It felt nice to relax as she waited for Anna, though it wasn’t a very lengthy wait.
Before long Anna had found her way to her sister’s room, wearing silk yellow pants and a shirt that were both slightly too short in the limbs. Her hair was left hanging in braided ponytails. Eagerly, she knocked on the huge door in front of her. Elsa couldn’t keep the smile off her face.
“Come in!”
Anna practically bounced into the room, holding a bundle of thick, wooly blankets and an oversized bag of marshmallows. Elsa immediately stood to help Anna carry everything...the marshmallows weren’t much of a worry, but even in spite of her attempts to unwind, she didn’t want any stray food or sheets strewn around the floor. Setting the marshmallows on her dresser, and retrieving a well-lit candlestick to place between them, Elsa sat back down.
Anna was positively giddy.
“How late should we stay up? No more rules, right?”
A little giggle escaped Elsa at the memories.
”Doesn’t matter to me. But you were never good at staying awake all night long.”
“Haha! Remember how mom and dad used to say they had a snow monster outside, watching us, to make sure we went to bed early? Ooooo...”
Anna mimicked their mother’s playful storytelling voice. She slinked around with exaggerated “spooky” gestures of her fingers, moving like a shadow puppet, one of the blankets sinisterly draped across her arm.
“You used to be scared of the snow monster too,” Elsa grinned teasingly, shifting to get comfortable against the pillows on which they sat.
“No, no, I wasn’t scared! No way! But he was out there. And if we weren’t careful, he’d use his big icicle claws tooooooooo....tickle us!”
Anna giggled and thrust her spidery fingers toward Elsa’s tummy, then retracted them just as quickly.
A squeak left Elsa’s lips, and her arms instantly moved to hug her stomach, even when Anna’s hands backed away.
“Y-y-hes; the snow monster would tickle you constantly! Heheh! You would try to convince the monster you were asleep while wanting to play with me,” Elsa smiled. After a moment, she released her stomach.
Anna giggled, lying on her side. The way her slightly undersized shirt bunched up against the floor, one could *almost* get a glimpse of her belly button. The big grin on her face was a tempting invitation after that last impish prank, one that did not go unnoticed by the older sibling, but Elsa hesitated.
Is she still ticklish? Am I still that ticklish?
Biting her lip in thought, she reached for a marshmallow, as well as a surprise hidden in her pocket...a small chocolate, from her *secret stash.* Hopefully, Anna wouldn’t notice.
“I’m so excited; what do you want to do first?”
“Whatever you want, Anna; you came up with the idea!”
“Hmmm...what to do....We could play truth or dare! ...nah, that’s too obvious...Oh! Or what about doing each other’s nails? Or I have a million board games in my room! Or...”
Forgetting about her snacks for a moment, Elsa glanced up as Anna started to list off the various activities as though they were still little children. Anna had scarcely grown up at all, though Elsa had to admit, her enthusiasm was infectious. Painting their nails sounded fun, board games could be fun as well...
“Maybe this time you’ll beat me at chess,” Elsa teased.
Pausing at the interruption, Anna noticed her sister’s mysteriously produced chocolate.
“Hey, where’d you get that? Do you still keep chocolate in your ‘secret hiding spot?’” she asked. Dramatically, she gestured to a small stuffed elk with a buttoned-up stomach, hidden just behind Elsa’s bedpost.
Elsa bit down harder on her lip at Anna’s look. She glanced away immediately and moved to grab another marshmallow.
"How’d you....I...mom gave that to me. I used to keep chocolate in there but I was always too...I forgot to eat it before it either melted or got old and spoiled I had to think of a new hiding spot.” Elsa was distracted, staring at her old chocolate stash as she got lost in thought.
“Ohhh, keeping secrets, huh?” Anna leaned forward against the floor and began to crawl toward Elsa on both wrists.
“Where’s your new hiding spot? I want some!”
Elsa jumped when she noticed Anna crawling toward her and started to back away slowly.
“Hey! I-I’m not telling!! But I can go get you some from the kitchen.”
A mischievous, wicked smile appeared on Anna’s face. It was the answer she was hoping for. She marched forward on her knees now, wiggling her fingers.
“Oh YEAH?” she laughed. “You’re not gonna tell me? You sure?”
Elsa’s eyebrow raised, and she kept retreating until her back struck the bedpost, halting her in place. Her eyes were nervously switching between Anna’s hands and that mean little smile.
See, Anna just had to know if Elsa was still ticklish. Instinctively, she reached out and poked her big sister’s tummy, right above the hip.
“Anna I just said I’ll gOHO Gehet you some!” A squeak burst out of Elsa at the poke, and her arms instinctively moved to hug herself. ”Anna don’t!”
“Ha! I knew it; I knew you were ticklish!” Anna laughed. Her eyebrow lowered downward...only one...giving her smile a menacing aura.
“Wait Anna!” Elsa attempted to sit up, before Anna held her back down.
Her right hand grabbed her sister’s shoulder, pinning her to the bed frame.
But her other hand made its way slowly toward Elsa’s sides and belly. Anna’s fingers skittered along her torso, just underneath the snow queen’s self-embracing arms.
“Now talk! Tell us your secrets!” Anna giggled, putting on a cartoonishly evil German accent. Sometimes she liked to imagine herself torturing a prisoner with her slender, tickling fingers.
Sinking in her stomach when the fingers ran along her torso, Elsa ground her teeth harder, but a few giggles came out before she finally released her stomach, to grab for Anna’s hand and push her away. She tried to resist, but her giggles were growing at Anna’s German accent, leading her to loose focus.
”Annahaha! I- let mEhehe go to thehehe kihitchehen! G- gEhet you sohome!!”
But Anna didn’t listen. She just kept tickling. Whenever Elsa squirmed out of the way, or covered herself, Anna just poked a new spot.
“I haff VAYS of makingk you talk! Heheh-Heh! Tickle tickle TICK-llllllllle!” Anna’s delightfully musical voice made her a perfect teaser. Only encouraged by Elsa’s struggling, another thought sprung to mind. A new approach.
“What about THERE? Are you ticklish there?” Anna could barely control her own laughter. Reaching back behind her, she pinched and squeezed Elsa’s knee.
“ANAHAHA SHUHUSH!” Elsa squealed louder, trying to pull her knees to her chest, but that just left another spot open. She didn’t even think her knees were ticklish! Not like she could hear Anna anyway, she was laughing so hard. She let out a gasping scream before the shrieks of laughter, and tried to push Anna off once again.
“WAIHIHIT! OKOKOKOKOK IHIT’S IN MY CLOHOHOSEHET! T-tOHOP DRAHAHAWER!”
Suddenly, the tickle torture stopped.
Anna stood triumphantly over her gasping sister, hands on hips, smug and self-satisfied. Elsa only noticed a minute later that the tickles had ceased (so overcome was she with giggles), catching her breath with a sigh and moving to smother down her nightgown.
“Heh heh hehhh...I had a feeling you’d see things my way.” Admittedly, Anna wasn’t very good at pretending to be evil, and she just collapsed into glee again. “Oh my gosh, I knew you were ticklish but I didn’t know you were THAT ticklish!”
Cheeks heating up as Anna teased her, Elsa moved to playfully smack the other’s leg.
“S-shut up; you’re still way more ticklish than I am.”
With a merry turn on her heel, Anna sauntered over the massive closet door and pried it open.
The shelving unit inside, an enormous white thing carved of pine, was much taller than Anna anticipated.
“Oh!” she blurted in surprise. The top drawer seemed a tiny bit out of reach. Never one to shirk, Anna stood on her tiptoes and reached as high as she could.
Darn it! The handle was just at the edge of her fingertips. She could barely graze it.
Elsa had almost forgotten that she was taller than Anna, and the girl probably couldn’t reach that high.
“Need help?” Elsa smiled, starting towards the closet as she nibbled on a chocolatey treat.
Sticking her tongue out, Anna stretched again. Almost got it. The motion caused her shirt to gradually lift, and exposed her pale midriff.
Elsa went to reach for the drawer, before noticing in the corner of her eye that her sister’s shirt was rising...
Hm....
Stretching...
There was never a bad time for revenge, right?
Stretching...
Almost got it...
One of Elsa’s hands reached up to help grab the drawer, while the other quickly found and squeezed into the bare side before her.
“AHHH!” With a loud squeak, Anna nearly jumped out of her skin! Her arms automatically snapped to her sides as she tried to wriggle away. “Hahahaha! N-hoho, I’m not more ticklish than you!”
Elsa winced slightly at her shriek and backed away, before making sure her sister was alright. A grin emerged in the corner of her mouth as Anna tried to wiggle away.
“No, you’re right; you’re WAY more ticklish than I am!”
“Nononono, don’t touch my SIhides!! Heehee-Hee! AH!” Within moments, Anna’s knees buckled, and she was helpless on the ground. Drawing her limbs in close, she wiggled in vain and desperately tried to push Elsa’s hand away.
“Aww, your sides are a weak spot? Poor baby,” Elsa giggled, continuing to squeeze up and down, up and down along Anna’s sides, gently but quickly. “Say you’re the most ticklish!”
Anna felt the color rising in her cheeks and moved quickly to shield her face...she’d never been a good liar.
Poor Anna. Like many, she could dish it out, but she couldn’t take it. As much as she secretly loved being tickled, the younger princess was deathly sensitive on almost every inch of her smooth, soft skin, and she could only stand it for so long. Especially when the torment was coming from one so cruel as a vengeful big sis. There she found herself, flat on her back, thrashing around, slapping Elsa’s upper arm. Her tummy was killing her; it hurt from all the laughing!
“You are the most ticklish most adorable little girl in the universe!” Elsa giggled, moving to squeeze into Anna’s sides and ribs as the princess slapped at her arm and tried to curl away. Elsa even tested a pinch to her hip before dancing her fingers once more against Anna’s stomach ...a little slower now.
“Haha-Haha! *gasp* AHA Heehee-Hee! Nohoho! No I’m not! Haha!!” Anna squealed as Elsa’s fingernails slowly stroked her belly. Her lungs were heaving, her breathing strained. She couldn’t handle too much more.
But through her wet eyelashes, she noticed something.
With her lying on her back, and Elsa bent down over her, her hand was very close to Elsa’s bare foot. With the hope that her sister won’t notice, she tried to stretch out her left arm.
“Heehee-HEE-Heehee; HA-HA HA-HA! It ti-hi-hickles!”
”It’s supposed to tickle, silly!” Elsa grinned. Her toes curled slightly as she dug into Anna’s stomach once more, moving between her hips and sides as she found spots to quickly press and knead into.
Through all her wiggling and giggling Anna could barely keep her arm still, struggling mightily against the instinct to pull it back in and protect her sensitive ribs. But after an agonizing gap of time, her hand finally rested on the warm floor, next to Elsa’s right foot. Elsa was still too focused on tickling the snot out of her sister to notice the hand moving.
Her fingers bent together, Anna gently scratched with her nails on the inside of Elsa’s foot...right along the arch.
“Say it’s you! Y- you’re the most TIHIHICKAHAHA- tIHICKLIHISH STOOHOHOP!” Another squeal left Elsa’s lips when Anna scratched her foot, which curled up instinctively. Elsa jerked it away and focused on Anna’s armpit instead...spider-like scratches just above her top ribs. Anna’s plan had failed!
“Hahaha!! Ah no faihair; youhoo were supposed to FAHAHALL over! *heave* HA-HA HA-HA HA!!”
“Oh so you could escape and get me back?” Elsa smiled and continued to tickle her pit AND ribs.
“Ok! Ok-ha-hay I give! I give! HOOO-HOHO-Hoho-Haha! Ihi...imthemostticklish!” Anna blurted out, almost totally out of breath.
Gahhh, why does this tickle so much?! Anna thought to herself, finally sapped of the strength to keep flailing.
Elsa stopped, sitting back with a grin.
“You ok?”
Anna’s shoulders trembled from her giggles. Her ribs and armpits still buzzed with a ticklish sensation, and tears adorned her blushing freckles. Curling into a defensive ball, she raised her knees to her chest and gripped her feet. The laughter still bubbled out of her, until finally, air was back in her lungs.
“Haaaaa...haha.....ha......ah, thahat was so much fun! Hmhm!”
Elsa smiled and grabbed a glass of water off her dresser for her. Setting it aside with one hand, she moved to rub Anna’s back with the other.
“That was fun.”
“It wasn’t fair. I’m definitely not gonna go easy on you next time!” Anna giggled. Unfurling from her armadillo-like defensive ball, she took the cup from Elsa and quenched her thirst. Despite her sister’s more-developed control of her abilities, there was still frost accumulating on the inside of the glass.
“That was you going easy on me?” Elsa teased, smiling at her sister as she gulped down the drink. “You started it; wanting my secret chocolate when we have plenty in the kitchen!”
Anna finally managed to sit up straight. Her breathing returned to normal.
“Oh you have no idea....we haven’t had a good old-fashioned tickle fight in so long...I’m the reigning champion of the world! Just you wait and see.”
She had nothing to back this claim up bar a confident smile, but the wheels in her head were already turning.
“You know...I really could use some chocolate now. Haha!”
“Anna please; I totally won the last tickle fight we had!” Elsa grinned, scooting closer to Anna as she grabbed another marshmallow. “Should I go get some of yours? Oh wait, I think I have another bag!”
She got up suddenly, moving towards her dresser to grab a whole bag full of chocolate, before finally plopping it between them with a big, friendly smile.
——————
Time passed, until the moon reached its apex in the inky sky. Underneath a fuzzy shawl, separated only by a humbly flickering candle, the two princesses reconnected in a way they hadn’t for years. They remembered the long-past late nights they would hide under the blankets from the curfew-enforcing eyes of their parents. They played games, told jokes, and more stories. They laughed, talked, and scarfed down snacks.
“Oh! Eltha! I hab an idea!” Anna suddenly declared, her mouth full of chocolate. “Let’th do each udderth hair, likd we yooth too!” She swallowed aggressively. “I’ve had tons of practice on my own head!”
Elsas gulped down another mass of chocolate with a hum, before wincing slightly...yep, way too much in one bite...some of that definitely went down the wrong tube...and snuggled closer under the blanket next to Anna.
“Yeah, let’s do it! Shall I braid your hair?”
“Uhhhmmmm....Elsa, my ponytails are already braided! Haha, I wanna do yours first!”
“Right, sorry,” Elsa smiled.
Anna tossed the blanket off of them, and a rush of cool night air enveloped the two. She leapt to her feet and dashed toward Elsa’s dresser, returning with a thin black comb and an expensive silver hair brush, with thick boar fur bristles. She dropped to her knees and held the tools up eagerly. “Pleeeeaaaase?”
Elsa smiled and got settled so Anna could sit behind her. Truth be told, she missed being so easily amused.
“Yes, you may; just please try not to pull too much.”
“I won’t!” Anna promised.
Slowly, she took the brush and ran it through Elsa’s platinum locks. The queen’s hair was already down, and just needed some fine-tuning.
With her right forearm, Anna reached down and lifted up Elsa’s hair to comb along the underside. But as long as it was, it dangled in her face and she had to spit some strands out of her mouth, which made them both laugh.
Elsa hummed with a smile on her lips, relaxing as she let Anna work. She enjoyed the serenity.
The youngest took her fine-toothed comb and ran it underneath Elsa’s hair, slowly approaching the back of her neck.
Then, as before, Anna got a wicked little idea.
She had to be sneaky...gentle. It had to seem like an accident. While Elsa sighed contentedly, the comb got closer to her head.
Lost in thought, Elsa wondered if Anna would let her braid and style her hair with the help of ice powers. Or just put ice in it, as a decorative garland, or even a pin. But as she opened her mouth to suggest it, suddenly, the comb went down past her hairline and softly grazed the nape of her neck. She yelped and curled her neck away like a retreating turtle, before starting to relax again and grabbing more chocolate.
Anna grinned and giggled while Elsa jumped away.
“Oh, are you a little ticklish there? Heheh! Sorry! It was an accident, I promise. Just hold still, I’ll be careful!”
She lied.
Elsa sighed, only slightly annoyed at Anna’s little tickle attack...but she should have expected it, really. She moved to gently hit Anna’s arm and shifted to get more comfortable.
Anna placed the comb down on the floor behind her...firmly, so Elsa would hear it clack against the ground. She would think Anna was done with it. But the mischievous redhead then picked it up again, carefully, so as not to make a noise.
In her left hand she held the comb. In the right, her bristly hair brush.
Elsa’s eyes closed in bliss once again.
“Ahh, I used to love doing this with you and mom,” Anna sighed dreamily. She brushed up and down through Elsa’s hair, gently ironing out its few loose and fuzzy strands.
Hm. A frown, at the memory of their mother. But Elsa did remember all the times the two sat in the queen’s lap, who brushed each of their hairs as she hummed the lullaby she used to sing each night. The thought stirred something in her.
The two sisters were both sitting on their knees...perfect opening for Anna.
She secretly took the comb in her hand and lowered it down...oh, it was perfect. She could barely stop herself from laughing.
Even Elsa began to hum the lullaby herself as Anna continued to brush her hair, dreaming she was back with their mother again, just snuggling with them happily. The warm nostalgia washed over her, and she smiled.
She was unaware.
Anna held her tickly instrument and, like picking a guitar string, she flicked her wrist...fast, and just once...so that the comb’s teeth just barely scritched the arch of Elsa’s foot.
And once again Elsa jumped, pulling her feet away and trying to grab for the comb quickly.
“ANNAHAHA!”
But it was too late.
“Haha, now I’ve got you and you can’t get away!” Anna laughed. Before Elsa could pull to freedom, Anna reached out with her other hand and pinned her sister’s left ankle to the ground. “Heehee-Hee! Tickle tickle tickle!”
The comb’s sharp little teeth kept grazing Elsa’s long sole. No matter how much Elsa pulled her leg or thrashed or slapped the ground, Anna kept her foot still and tickled mercilessly. The comb sawed back and forth hard, even under and between Elsa’s toes.
“You think I’m the cutest and most ticklish? Huh? Heheh! Well look at you!”
“ANAHA! LEhet gO!” Elsa squealed, flicking her wrist and trying to throw a conjured snowball in Anna’s face, even as her ankle was pinned and the comb kept going against her sole! Anna dodged the snowball flung at her and just kept up the silly smile that was growing bigger and bigger on her face. Bouts of giggles left Elsa, which only got louder when the comb sawed between her toes! Trying to curl them away and kick at Anna with her other foot, the struggling queen bit down on her lip as hard as she could...like that would stop her squealing laughter. “Y-YOHOU AHAHARE! Thehe cUhutest mohohost ticklihish one!” Nails digging into the carpet, she squirmed and kicked in trying to get her ankle free and run.
“Uh-uh; you can’t lie to me! You’re WAY more ticklish and adorable! Look at you squirm like that! Heheh-Heh! Admit it! Admit it!”
Anna struggled to hold Elsa’s ankle still, but finally flopped her body to the floor and pinned herself on top of her sister’s leg. She noticed that Elsa giggled louder when the comb got between her toes, and that only encouraged the mischief more. She kept scribbling with the comb, tickle-torturing with gleeful abandon.
“Uh-oh; I found a weakness! Heehee!”
“Ha-Ha Ha! St-HOP, not thehere!!!”
“Come on; I’m not gonna quit until you admit it! Cootchie cootchie coo!” There was that babyish, singsongy teasing again.
“YOUHOUVE AHAHALWAHAYS BEHEEN WAHAY MOHOHORE TIHIHICKLIHISH!” Elsa shrieked, foot wiggling as much as possible against the comb. She tried to curl and clench her foot to keep the comb still, but those evil little teeth tickled even when it wasn’t moving! She tried to form another snowball, but she was laughing too hard to concentrate, covering her face with her arms as she squealed and giggled like a child.
Triumphantly, Anna threw the comb down on the floor. Mercy.
Blasts of frost and snow decorated all corners of the room, strewn about like mad from Elsa’s flailing. The floor behind them was chilled to the core, even nearby the fireplace. Gentle ice flecks floated around them like the innards of a snow globe.
While Elsa still trembled with laughter, Anna pumped her arms in the air.
“Woo! Oh yeah, I’m the champ!” she called out, making sure to embarrass her big sis as much as possible.
Catching her breath, Elsa watched Anna climb off her and flicked her wrist again...after a moment the snow melted away, though the ice flecks took a little longer as she sat up.
Anna brushed her hair aside and climbed over Elsa.
“Hmhm! Hey, you ok? Can you breathe?” Anna giggled. She gingerly poked the queen’s side...just once, though. Just a little poke.
Cheeks red, Elsa jumped at the poke and swatted playfully at Anna’s hand.
“I’m...I’m f-hine, you...dork...but...*heave* definitely g-hetting you back later!”
Anna fell back on her butt, still overcome by giggles of her own. She found herself simultaneously dreading, and secretly anticipating, whatever tickle revenge Elsa was cooking up.
Not everything had to be complex, or adult. Sometimes, it was nice...just things like this. Simple interactions taken for granted by their royal lives. Roughhousing wasn’t supposed to be for older girls, their mother had once said. Anna smiled. For no particular reason, she grabbed a nearby stuffed animal...a walrus...and pulled it to her stomach.
“Whew...heheh-heh! How am I exhausted now too?” she laughed.
“You did tickle me a lot; maybe that’s why,” Elsa smiled, giggling at the stuffed animal and moving to pet it before she finally stood up to stretch. She placed one wrist behind the other and groaned as her spine bent back. That felt better.
“Time for bed, sleepyhead?” she inquired teasingly.
“Don’t call me that; I’m not 5,” Anna laughed. Standing, she playfully swatted Elsa’s arm with her toy’s wool flipper. But a huge yawn was all the convincing she needed. “I guess it is getting pretty late.”
Just to make sure Elsa didn’t get it first, she quickly shoved one last piece of chocolate into her mouth.
The bag was empty.
Elsa opened her mouth to feign outrage, but all she could do was chuckle. She playfully tussled her sister’s hair, and the two finally laid down and snuggled into their sleeping bags. Anna’s was far too large and puffy; she looked like a swaddled Yupik baby. The little stuffed walrus’ head poked out just below her own.
“Hey Elsa, can I tell you a secret?” she whispered.
Elsa reached out and slid the candle over to her. “What?” she whispered back.
“I like having tickle fights!”
Elsa just giggled and blew out the candle.
Everyone knows the most fun part of a sleepover is staying up after lights out and whispering secrets to one another. But even the two sisters were too tired for that.
Before long, the blowing night air carried them off, seeming to cradle the room like a hug.
You see, Elsa had a secret too.
That in spite of her seriousness, and her duty, these moments...after a long day with the sister she had lost for so many years, right between falling asleep and the dreams that followed...were what she cherished most in the entire world.
And all that remained of the evening was the soft clunking of the grandfather clock down the hall.
I will never get tired of this gif of them laughing together. XD
A/N: Just one more for tonight I think, been a while since I wrote anything for Frozen.
“Elsa, what do you think you’re doing?” Anna exclaimed when she suddenly lost her footing on a patch of ice in the ballroom.
“Do you remember now? From when we were kids and you knew about my powers?” Elsa inquired.
Anna shrugged as she found her balance. “Bits and pieces, sure, but it’s been quite a few years.”
“There was one game we used to play…” Elsa drew out her words slowly. “It’s been so long but something reminded me of it.”
“What game? Whoa!” Anna slipped again. “Stop doing that!”
Elsa winked at her, turning the whole floor to ice with a flick of her wrist. Elsa lunged at Anna, tackling her to the cold ground with ease as Anna couldn’t move nearly as swiftly on the ice.
Elsa’s fingers dug into Anna’s sides and she remembered exactly how Elsa used to tickle her to tears when they were young.
“Great to finally be a family again, am I right, sis?” Elsa giggled as Anna squealed with laughter.
