What I have on hand right now, plus figs still on my tree to finish up, and the peaches are almost ready :) Still getting some good watermelons, and sweet papaya too! . It will be two years fruit based in October. No, It hasn't been perfectly executed, but I have done my best most of the time lol! And, I have learned a lot. . I learned just how addictive cooked food is especially breads/grains, but I know that's the candida creating it. I have learned that when I'm depressed or down, I crave cooked food. Maybe this is one reason why people are so attached to foods. The problem is cooked food doesn't cure depression, it only creates more of it. The solution FRUIT AND FAST! Plus lots of fresh air exercise :) Not only does this cure depression, but it gets rid of cravings too. . So, while I'm still trying to bring some more balance to my body, cleansing and healing to my thyroid. I have lost close to 50 pounds and dropped my cholesterol 100 points, simply by changing my diet to a mostly raw fruit based diet with simple salads. No, drugs! The nurse practitioner was surprised and didn't even feel she had to lecture me about my diet lol! . My recent blood work did show that my iron and calcium were a tad lower than standard level, but I know that's a reflection of my GI still needing to cleanse causing absorption issues. I have also been kinda lazy with the salads from time to time. So, since my workup I decided to add that spinach back in on a REGULAR basis. Spinach is the best clean source for iron and calcium that we have. Since going back to that I am feeling better, with more energy. . This winter when fresh fruit isn't available as much I want to do some longer water fasting, along with some simple juice fasting. I hope that I can use my GI broom during that time as well. . Well, that was a bit of an update. Not giving up, and definitely not getting discouraged. Working out the kinks and building dicipline.
