ok so ava santiago is a Bad Bitch™ & the protagonist of trolh! she runs the school’s newspaper/journalism club (the stinger because they’re the beaufeld high bumblebee’s,, i am a pun lover), and is a hispanic/latinx woc with short hair dyed a pastel purple and is “thicker than a bowl of oatmeal.” truly an icon. loves mint chocolate ice cream and will not hesitate to strangle ignorant people with her thicc thighs and stand up for justice and equal rights. a woke queen. a pansexual goddess.

she meets lolita when lolita moves to beaufeld their sophomore year of high school; but they don’t truly meet until ava (with a plan to take lolita down & open everyone’s eyes to how much of a Snake lo is) proposes to be lolita’s partner for an english project. then it all sort of takes a tumble from there, and shit gets crazy and in the end ava is Very Gay with lolita??

in 10 years ava wants to be running her own successful news site, in which she exposes people in politics and in the mainstream media. hard-hitting journalism. real news, in her opinion. (also she lowkey wants to be with lolita in 10 years but hmmmmmmmmm let me not spill that tea)

(i just need to gush a little bit i hope it's okay) one of my best friends is hanging out with a guy she really likes and i'm?? so happy for her?? he's like two years older but super thoughtful and creative and he makes her smile the way she deserves to and idk if it's superficial but they complement each other so well aesthetically too?? i've yet to meet him but i'm so glad someone cares about her as much as i do! and i am very single but man oh man my heart gets so warm when i think about them

hello hi i love orelis pls tell me some more things about him. i assume he's a criminal, because of the assassination attempt and the consequent stripping of his wings (ouch) but is he like an outcast? does he still have a family that he sees often? or even friends? how does he spend his time? is there still love in his heart?

taking the time to respond to this before walking my dog, but yeah he’s a Criminal and yess he’s pretty much an outcast. the absence of wings basically means that you’re the lowest of the low, and to have your wings removed , especially be the royal fucking family?? that’s even fucking worse. no one wants to associate with him, because everyone , even criminals, knows that he fucked up so hard that he got his wings sawed off of his back. even criminals who lost their wings in fights and had their wings ripped from their backs by other criminals know not to fuck with the royal family, because having such a thing done by them means that the head of the fucking kingdom regards you as scum. 

his family is dead. OKAY SO HE’S NOT FULLY VENESTRIAN. HE’S HALF VENESTRIAN/ HALF POLAS ( the eastern kingdom ) sO HE HAD BOTH WINGS AND BODILY MARKS ( his are clovers !!! all over his shoulders !! and upper back !!! ) his mother married a venestrian noble, and they were well known until they died when orelis was about 10 years old , sixteen years before the assassination attempt. his father died first of a lingonshoz infection ( more on diseases and stuff later!!! ) , and his mother died three months afterwards of unknown causes. so he has no family, and if he did, they’d most likely disown him because of what he’s done. 

uhhhh he has little time to spend to himself. after his wings were cut off, he was forced to go to war, so he kinda resides with the King’s Guards. they don’t like him and they don’t socialize with him. so any time he has to himself, it’s spent alone in his small room, looking at whatever trinkets he has from his home ( A POST ON THIS COMING SOON!!! ) or reading whatever books he was supplied with. 

AND YES THERE’S STILL.................. well there may be, but it’s a little hard to tell. he’s been through so much shit ( even though it was all his fault ) and he doesn’t really think about love? but he takes pleasure in the little details of life, like i imagine him having this little sketchbook ( in the first draft of the still-unfinished first chapter, he drew ) and just??? a handmade pencil??? and just doodling away??? whenever he can??? idk. he hasn’t found anyone who’s caught his eye so.................. if there’s love in his heart for people?? that’s to be determined. but love for the environment around him?? definitely.
