The gifted kid and the tinkerer goes to bed and this happens.
Maleshep/Garrus and Femshep/Tali hit so much harder than their straight versions.
Same goes for all the Mass Effect romances imo

Fshali wip for wip game!
Tali, in my headcanon, is one of the most important relationships for Shepard. Shepard and Tali were good friends during the events of Mass Effect 1, bonding over their technical expertise and having strong parental figures (Rael’Zorah and Anderson).
Their relationship became romantic in nature during the events of Mass Effect 2, as Shepard’s death caused Tali to reevaluate how much she cared for Shepard. It has also been a continuous learning experience for Tali in her romantic relationship with Shepard as Quarians on the LGBTQ exist and are accepted but rare. Due to the exile from Rannoch, most information on LGBTQ relationships was lost and this knowledge has had to be rebuilt during their exile. They greatly enjoy playing old Earth video, omni tool, and board games together. They also enjoy vids for “movie nights”, both old and new vids from multiple cultures.
Tali is the first of companions to fully understand Shepard being plural, with her likening it to Geth programs. This causes a poor initial reaction on Tali’s part, but upon learning more, she apologizes and becomes one of their biggest supporters.
Tali’s relationship with Shepard, both romantic and as a friend, are based on that Shepard’s system’s love that Tali can go through so much, and still retain being a loving, caring, and kind person.
There's something about gay Malesheps and lesbian Femsheps that's just so powerful.
