I can't believe I never posted this here? Last year I was part of a Turks-centric charity zine (y'all may remember seeing the big pieces I drew for From ShinRa With Love, aka the project where I did so much extra art it's how I learned I have arthritis), but going through the tag I couldn't find any of the spot illustrations posted here.

This is one set, and my favorite of the three batches I did, albeit probably the least labor-intensive. I had other ideas for this set, but it just got untenable to keep up the momentum and I had to settle with these. (There is a secret sixth spot featuring Legend instead of Rude, but I didn't end up submitting that one for use in the zine at all.)

The full version of my October sidebar calendar piece from @turkspinupzine, which of course HAD to be Turk Vincent. This is affectionately titled Living Dead Boy.

There's an alternate B-movie bloody version under the cut, but it wasn't appropriate for the project so I went with the "clean" version for when it went to print.

The full version of my June sidebar calendar piece from @turkspinupzine, Two Guns With Water Damage. I was inspired by photos from the onset of Japan's rainy season and ran with it. Very happy with the result; I have an alternate version that I never finished but still chip away at here and there, so you may see a variation of this picture again later!

Also drawing this piece is how I found out I have arthritis, so oops on that I guess.

Here it is, finally, my main piece from @turkspinupzine! So much love to this project for giving me the opportunity to draw some really self-indulgent pre-canon VinVeld and support a charity in the process.

Like the previous, there's a higher-res version of this on Patreon, along with an alternate version with the diffuse lighting and the foreground portion removed so that the image is clearer (and you can see the counter a little better because there's a whole sink there that wound up getting covered up by Veld's shoulder).

Uncropped version of my @turkspinupzine sidebar for February, which doesn't have a fun title (tragic), but is still a really fun picture! The cropped version in the calendar cuts off his arm, which is a damn shame because it came out really well with the glove over it.

This is actually an aggressively VinVeld picture, and not only because it's Veld as the image for Valentine's month (which is so good for my shipper heart). For anyone who participated in Vincent Week this year, you may recognize that flower as a red camellia; in the language of flowers, this essentially means "my heart is still yours," referring to a romantic relationship that fell apart at some point in the past, but one (or both) parties are still utterly in love with each other.

I'm a sap, and I'm not sorry.

The smaller of my two main pieces on @turkspinupzine, a collab with one of my best friends. Baby Tseng being a babe and Veld being the hot dad he was born to be. The moral of the story that goes with this piece is that you really shouldn't interrupt a Turk's training routine.
