Honestly, I'm really glad for ft to go back to the main plot line. Not because I didn't like the Ezra vs. Eileen battle, which I thought wasn't as bad as some people make it out to be (which is fine), but I'm excited to see what is happening to Natsu. I really want nalu, and want to see e.n.d. stuff to be revealed.

every time i read a new chapter of fairy tail lately, i always end up telling myself “at least it can’t get any worse”, despite knowing that it probably will.

now, though? i genuinely don’t think it can get any worse. never in my life have i seen something written with so few fucks given. i loved fairy tail so much, but i hate what it’s become.

let me clarify a few things:

1. as far as i’m concerned, erza scarlet died in the tartaros arc. i don’t know who this new bitch is.

2. there is no amount of sappiness that could ever in a million years convince me that irene in any way loved erza and that this wasn’t a complete asspull

3. any shred of sympathy i might’ve had for irene has committed just seppuku

My main problem with this chapter is the plot itself

Like there is not even a dust of logic in there. Erza’s bones are completely broken except for one arm apparently. For starters, if all of her bones are broken that would include her spine and neck. I’m not claiming to be a doctor here, but from what I know, if your spine and neck are broken that’s it. Like there’s barely any chance of you surviving that.

But let’s ignore that plot hole for a second and talk about how can someone who only had one functional arm was able to- not only break a Sema way stronger than Jellal’s (who beat Oracion Seis with that spell, mind you)- but also slay a dragon, push herself off the ground by a few feet with a katana going through her shoulder blade area, and headbutt someone after the fact???

Like??? wHAT???? 

And don’t be giving me that “because she’s Erza” bulIshit. No. That’s too much power. too much plot armor. Never have I ever seen a character as op as her. Like shit, her plot armor is even worse than Negans (The Walking Dead). It’s a great disservice to a character that could have been developed to something more enjoyable than what Mashima has turned her into. I love Erza, but I don’t love this over-powered immortal she has become. It’s disappointing. This chapter was disappointing.

I know this is fucking stupid, but i just love how erza reacted to her mother

Like, she met her, she fight her, she listened to her tragic back story long enough to make some tea, she fight again, she almost kill her, she fight her, she does a speech about friendship Bam! Bitch dies Give her last words to her daughter where she finally admit that she always loved her and than *drop dead* And erza is just like Erza: "*wanna be middle sad face* i see.................... *clap her fucking hands* okay, next!"

I really want some nalu next chapter, but I don’t feel like there will be. With Ezra and Wendy finishing their battle, I feel like mashima is going to focus on that in this next chapter.

Not like that’s a bad thing, cuz I do want to see Ezra and Wendy finish off Eileen.
