As it can be seen from these panels, if Ichiya and Anna hadn’t pushed Acnologia with the ship, fact which released Jellal from his hand, Erza herself would have begun fighting Acnologia to save Jellal.
So, Erza was immediately willing to take on Acnologia himself, the one who could eat all magic and the one who was extremely feared by absolutely everybody, just like Jellal himself had previously also attacked Acnologia twice to save and protect Erza.
Therefore, both Erza and Jellal are willing to fight even the strongest villains in order to protect or save each other, fact which shows how incredibly much they love one another. ^-^
When I first met Ichiya’s character, I was a little weirded out but kinda liked his character because he was comic relief. I’m really glad Jellal didn’t die but I feel bad for Blue Pegases. They lost their S-Class wizard (Mind you in style), and I’m not sure how I feel about it. As for Anna, I wish Lucy had at least gotten to meet her…but it makes sense that she’d be the one to go through the timelapse.
This is one of the best panels ever of Jenny! And it really describes how lost Blue Pegases will be without Ichiya. I’m a little nervous about what she says…I really hope we don’t get an ending like this with FT (you never know what might happen between now and then! We still have the Lucy situation!) Anyone else notice she kind of looks like Nami?
On the other side…I’M SO FREAKING HAPPY ACNOLOGIA IS GONE! A little disappointed that we didn’t see him and Natsu go against each other (I can already hear the FT haters complaining about this…) But nonetheless, happy because hopefully know they don’t have to worry about him…hopefully…
I’m kinda loving the subtle NALU hints everywhere! Look at his arm! It’s the same arm as Lucy’s and I’m not sure if it means anything or not!
Mavis and Zeref…ARGH! There’s such history there and still so many questions! I do love their story though…and watching the prequel was just awesome! Especially when they both technically met in Hargeon!
“THE LIFE FORCE” WTF DO YOU MEAN?!? Are we gonna get to know about how to get rid of Zeref and Mavis’s curse?!?! OR is it going to be related to WTH is going on with Lucy??! If so I can’t wait to see Natsu’s reaction!!! (Fan girl scream…heart dying). There’s a good chance because he did say he was going to see Happy and his friends!
Speaking of, am I the only one out there that might have been a bit miffed that he didn’t specify Lucy too? Not to discredit Happy and Natsu’s relationship, but we keep getting back and forth of this. One minute Natsu is singling out Lucy and the next, he isn’t. I’m not saying I want FT to be full on romance but to single out Happy and not Lucy as well…I don’t know. It’s frustrating and weird. (Especially when I get thinking about how he left for the year…WHICH I WISH THEY HAD TALKED ABOUT!). On the other hand, Natsu might be linked to Lucy because of the whole book thing and didn’t need to specify her. I don’t know what I’m trying to say LOL

WHY ONLY 10 MORE CHAPTERS?!??!?! I WAS HOPING FOR ATLEAST 20 MORE! Which would have finished it around August and the 11th Anniversary. Basically I just don’t know how I really feel about this chapter…I loved it don’t get me wrong but still…
So the first page is a reminder of the OS arc, which is all very well and good, but Sorano looks high and Erik’s right arm seems to have kinda fused with Cubellios. Macbeth is adorable as hell in the background, though.

And Jellal’s rib cage is apparently quite robust. Mine would be bone dust at this point. Erza’s looking like she wants to fight Acnologia (and if she does and survives, I’m so fucking done), and also the ship - y’know, the magic one that can fly - is now flying, which is surprising apparently.
Anna’s decided to use Christina to kamikaze Acnologia (and.... Jellal too, I guess), and for some reason people actually give a shit.
Oh, but it’s okay! Ichiya’s going on her suicide mission too! Yippee.
Well, it’s official. Ichiya x Anna is my new otp. Ichina? Annichiya? IchiAnna? Whatever it is, I ship it.
Jellal is somehow not dead. Again. Y’know, I think he’s even more sick of surviving things that should kill him than we are.
Erza’s swimming over to... catch him???? Why? The water’s not gonna kill him, sweetie, he’s kinda immune to death or something.
You know what? I’m actually totally okay with this. Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki used his magical flying ship to kill Acnologia. That is quite frankly the best possible outcome. If Acnologia comes back, then I’m going to pretend it’s Ichiya, having taken over his body and returned to end this massive shitfest.
Natsu’s still punching Zeref (I think it’s actually the same punch tbh), and Zeref is still shocked that his fire magic-wielding brother is wielding fire magic. This guy sure is a genius, all right.

Mavis watches in awe as the guy who started a punch back in page two finally manages to connect several pages later.
The time lapse exploded, Blue Pegasus is understandably upset, Wendy is less understandably upset, and Erza is making sure Jellal doesn’t drown because he already did that once this arc.
And everyone’s crying. Especially Jenny. Acnologia’s dead forever, as far as I’m concerned; let Jenny be happy.
Natsu apparently hit Zeref so hard he Deku’d his hand. Also Zeref’s... maybe dying???? Maybe just tired. Apparently he’s never been unable to move before, so I think it’s pretty safe to say that he’s officially the least realistic depiction of a person implied to have depression ever.
Mavis, you better fucking kill him. Also, Natsu, why are you leaving this to her? Exactly what has she done to make you think leaving the two of them alone together is a good idea. KILL YOUR OWN DAMN FAMILY MEMBERS. The title of the next chapter makes me thing that Zeref’s gonna get “redeemed”. Please god no don’t do that.
