Announcing LGBTQ+ Fairies a new social Fairy Tail LBGT+ Discord Server hosted by @ftlgbtales.
You asked for it and we listened! We have created a server where fans of LGBT+ Fairy Tail can feel at home discussing their favorite headcanons, ships or anything at all regarding their favorite Fairy Tail characters.
All genders/orientations/identities are welcome!
In order to make sure that this server remains a safe space for everyone, we are including the rules below. Please don’t ask for an invitation if you don’t think you can follow them.
General Rules: (these are not meant to scare, don't be a jerk and you should be fine.)
No ship wars - Starting or participating in one will earn you a ban
No character bashing - We all have characters we love and some we are not so fond of. That's fine, just please remember others might love a character you dislike and hearing them constantly being bashed makes this space not fun for them.
No screenshots - We would like to keep this server as drama-free as possible. Do not take screenshots. Posting of screenshots on social media will be grounds for a ban.
Issues with another member - If you have a problem with another user reach out to one of the admins or mods first, do not do callouts, do not engage. We will handle it!
Discourse and antis - This is not a place for hatred, this is a server to discuss Fairy Tail and make some new fandom friends, please keep this space free of these topics.
Invites - We would like to keep this a safe space so if there is someone you would like to invite please let one of the admins know, we would be happy to send out an invite after a quick check.
Dating Policy- This is not a dating server. We can't stop you but we ask you to keep any dating stuff to your PMs.
Misconduct - Harassment of members will result in an automatic ban.
Avatar and Nickname changes - Please only change one at a time and if possible keep the name you'd like to be called as part of your nickname. Changing your nickname constantly can be fun, but for people who aren't on all the time, it makes them feel like they don't know anyone when they do log back in. It can be very isolating.
Again, if you think there's something harmful happening contact the admins or mods and we will evaluate.

Last year this was a member-only event, but we wanted to open it up to everyone this year. If there is enough interest signups would begin mid-November and close on November 30 with matches assigned a day or two later. All gifts would be due on December 25th. *Schedule might change but the gift date will remain the same* This event would be run by @ftlgbtales through our blog @ft-fairyexchanges.

What is it?
I Take A Pride In What I am is a month-long art/writing pride event that will take place from June 1st-30th of 2019.
What types of entries will be accepted?
Fanart
Fanfiction (any length)
Edits (videos, gifsets, aesthetics)

Tweets, memes, shitposts
Please use the tag ftlgbtpride2019 tag for all submissions. All work must be original to the person entering it. We will not accept reposts that don’t have proper credit and approval from the original artist.
We will reblog all valid entries so please get in touch with us if you don’t see yours up within a day. You can also mention our blog @ft-wwtdp to get our attention.
Is there a minimum word count?
No there isn’t we will be accepting everything from five sentence memes all the way to multi-chapter fics. Poetry will also be accepted.
Is there any content that will not be allowed?
No entries containing references to pedophilia, incest or character bashing will be accepted. All entries should treat their subject matter respectfully.
Can I submit a new chapter to a published fiction as my entry?
All work must be previously unpublished. New chapters of an already published work will not be accepted, however, a stand-alone one-shot based on an existing work is acceptable.
Do the characters involved have to be in a romantic/sexual relationship or can I write them platonically?
You are welcome to represent them either way.
Will you accept smut or pwp in your event?
Yes, you are welcome to submit this type of work as long as you tag and rate it appropriately, and follow all the other event rules (no pedophilia or incest, characters are not demeaned or dehumanized).
How should I rate my fanfiction?
You should use the AO3 Guidelines . Please make sure to tag for any potential triggers.
Is there a limit to the amount of stories one can submit to this event?
You can submit as many stories as you want, there is no limit! You can also use your own prompts!
Will you accept late submissions?
Yes we will accept late submissions, if we don’t reblog it send us an ask or tag us in a reblog of it so we definitely see it but we’ll do our best to keep checking the event tag #ftlgbtpride2019
Are AU’s allowed?
Yes, even though it’s not an official prompt you can absolutely create AU’s for any of your entries.

Summary:
Lucy dies in a tragic accident involving Natsu's magic. Natsu can't deal with the guilt and leaves Magnolia and Fairy Tail. Will Gray be able to find him and bring him back?
This is an idea that we had been throwing around ever since last year. Every week in 2020 @ftlgbtales will highlight one of the many amazing content creators for the Fairy Tail LGBT+ fandom.
